Mating My Mob IN Shadows and Shade

Alternate Universes get to completely break parts of the Shadows and Shade world and story. In this AU, courtesy of the fans in the @Amanda Cashure's Keepers Facebook group, the opening scene of Shadows and Shade is rewritten with the harem from Mating My Mob. Mating My Mob is a fast burn, action packed, tale of shifters in Australia. Mob means family in Australia and this family consists of:

Flynn – Alpha-asshole and bunyip shifter.

Lochy – the shark shifter torn between guarding his heart and trusting even though he might get hurt.

Tas – the all muscle trickster who can turn into a cute, little (but deadly) tasmanian devil.

Puss – the platypus shifter and calm center of the group.

Steve – the croc shifter who has the tech side covered and enjoys his sex underwater.

And Harper – an owl shifter with danger on her tail. Her powers skipped generations, leaving her like a fish out of water in a world plagued by a virus eating through the shifter magic, and her shifter magic just beginning to awaken.

She means protection to any shifters who can take her as a mate, which she would know if she knew she was a shifter at all.

I'm going to use all of that information and throw them straight into the world of Shadows and Shade. Lord Martin is a mortal unaware of the magical world and the priceless, coveted woman he has in his soot-servant, Harper. Harper has no idea shifters exist or that she is one, and for this story the Mating My Mob men have no special conditions or reasons to hold back (they do in Mating My Mob but revealing them here would be a bit of a spoiler if you want to read Mating My Mob after this)

So in short, suspend what you know about the existing worlds of both Shadows and Shade and Mating My Mob and let me take you on a wild ride, just for the hell of it.

There is an assault at the beginning of this short that does not lead to rape but threatens it, as well as being physical. It is not sign posted.

Also the Mating My Mob sex is rougher than you'd expect in Shadows and Shade, and has lines that some may feel are crossed just a little in terms of consent.
