he said my name is pretty
rolls off easily on the tongue
has a nice ring to it
i told him about all the nicknames
i've collected over the years
he shook his head in disappointment
and surprised me with a
"your name fits best"
what he failed to realize was
my name didn't fit at all
until he let it out of his mouth
- i wonder how it tastes on his lips
