S u m m a r y

Noel DeJesus swore he was cursed. After living through enough disastrous Christmas seasons, he named it the Christmas curse. Still reeling from last year's curse, Noel didn't think he had any chance of surviving this year's.

Between the holiday work party he was forced to attend, the jolly Christmas project he had to complete, his complicated Secret Santa person, and his oblivious family, it was looking like this year would be no different.

Maybe the cute co-worker in his office could change that. He was long overdue for a Christmas miracle, after all. And everyone deserved to feel that Christmas magic at least once in their lives.

A u t h o r ' s n o t e

Hi all! Not sure if anyone will remember this story, but I actually started writing and posting it last December. I never got past a few chapters by the time Christmas rolled around, so I decided to put it on hold and focus on other stories of mine. I finally finished my story High School Treachery a few months back and I'm currently writing the sequel Accepted Hearts. But I do love Christmas—and this story and the characters—so I am making it my mission to complete it this year.

As I wrote last year, I had no official plot. I was trying something new and just writing and seeing where the story took me. I had vague ideas of what I wanted to happen, so I finally wrote those down and I think I have a rough idea of how this story will go. It shouldn't be too long (I'm hoping for exactly 25 chapters, around 2k words each). We'll see. I'm just really excited to get back into this little world I created last year, and I definitely cannot wait to get back into the Christmas spirit! I hope you all agree and enjoy the story.

Edit: I just realized the ë in Noël has the two dots over it, not the ö. So just letting people know there may be a few mistakes in this story. I'm too lazy to fix / edit every cover, aesthetic, and chapter.
