Chapter 5 part 2

In the afternoon, Xiao Fei went to look for Yo Yo at school. The two went to the grocery store to buy the ingredients to cook dinner, and went home holding hands, talking and laughing along the way.

When they reached the door, Yo Yo suddenly broke free of his grip and ran straight to the house shouting: "Mommy!"

Fei Sheng Zhe was surprised, and his eyes saw the person before Yo Yo. Then he saw that there was a woman standing at the door of Yi Jie's house. Her face was small and soft, similar in many ways to Yo Yo.

Yo Yo flew into the woman's arms. She took the little princess in her arms and said in a delicate voice: "You grew up so fast that Mom can barely carry you"

"Why did you come back mom?" a happy Yo Yo asked.

"Because mom wants to get married"

"And why are you at the door?"

Zhou Xin Ru felt a little embarrassed. After the divorce, she thought she would never return to that house. The key had been thrown away a long time ago.

"Because mom wanted to see you as soon as you arrived," the woman replied, with an excuse to disguise.

At that moment, he noticed Fei Sheng Zhe, who was standing watching the scene and asked: "Who are you?"

Yo Yo quickly ran to answer: "Mom, he is Xiao Fei. Dad and I love him very much! Dad even said he likes..."

Xiao Fei interrupted her quickly: "No, I'm just a student who does the teacher a favor, I'm helping him take care of Yo Yo"

When Sheng Zhe saw Yo Yo with her mother he thought: In my world something as wonderful as that could not happen.

Yi Jie was a straight man who said he loved him. But, maybe he just felt empty and alone. Now that Yo Yo's mother, his ex-wife, was back, he would surely return to the woman who married him and gave birth to his daughter.

I understand that I cannot replace her.

For a moment, Sheng Zhe cringed.

Instead of getting hurt again for creating expectations, he preferred to see the facts and withdraw if necessary.

Yo Yo took her mother by the hand to the house. Sheng Zhe hesitated to follow them. He felt he didn't belong there.

Fortunately, Yo Yo ran again, took his hand and pulled him: "Go ahead! You're the best at making caramel milk pudding"

Fei Sheng Zhe's repressed feelings were full of discomfort. 

Although he couldn't bear to disappoint them, he decided to run away.

He handed the ingredients to Yo Yo, smiling softly and saying, "Yo Yo, I'm sorry. I don't feel very well today. I want to go home early. Can you ask Mom to make you the pudding?"

Before leaving, there was another concern: "Yo Yo, don't let mom know about dad and me, okay?"

"Why?" Yo Yo looked at him and seemed surprised.

"Because ... it's better for Dad to explain it to you himself"

Although, he could probably guess what Yi Jie's reaction would be...

Sheng Zhe smiled and rubbed Yo Yo's hair with love, and turned to leave.

He didn't want to look back, because that would only remind him how much he thought he was happy.
