"So...Lucifer has a kid too? And she's half-angel and half-goddess?" I stared back at him whilst he simply nodded, confirming what he had just told me only moments ago.
"Ookay...Who's her mom?" I curiously asked as I couldn't help the staggering amount of questions running through my head with each passing second the more he gave me more info about what happened in these past two months.
"Hmm the...freaking...goddess of the moon... Se-lene...?" He replied unsure with a brow raised and a pensive expression plastered all over his beautiful features as he comfortably sat laying back against the couch, watching me agitate and animatedly amble back and forth through their living room like a hen without a head.
What the fuck?
"Okay but, what was that all about? What happened in there?" I pressed about the main matter, throwing an accusatory finger in the direction of the double wooden doors.
"Well, I don't know if you're gonna believe this shit, but from what I gathered from Lucifer, this kid, his daughter was gifted at birth with one of the freaking seven deadly sins. Lust,"
Noticing how my brows raised in utter astonishment and confusion at that sentence, he rushed to further try and explain some more about all that.
"It had something to do with the fact that they are both celestial beings and by conceiving her, they both commited the sin of lust or some shit like that, I didn't exactly understand all that supernatural crap anyway,"
Yeah, well that makes two of us.
I mentally mumbled as I silently stared back at him.
"Okay but what the hell happened there, back there inside that dining room?" I asked yet again as I couldn't wait to get to the bottom if it already.
"Well, Azrael and Raphael were supposed to help her and take that thing out of her since it's been only growing even more powerful with each day, not to mention that it also did some serious damage in the meantime,"
What?
"Human damage," His features momentarily darkened after those two words, by the looks of it seemingly recalling an awful memory, for some reason that look in his eyes making me feel a cold shiver crawling up my spine.
"But for some reason, the only thing they managed to do was get it very angry because the next moment they found themselves slammed against the walls like fucking rag dolls while all the windows blew into million pieces, and soon after that her "brothers" came knocking at the door," He managed to continue after a moment of silence.
Wait what?
"B-brothers?" I sputtered, eyes wide as I once again stared back at him in utter astonishment.
"Well, yeah. The other sins," He simply replied as if it was the most common thing in the world we were currently talking about and not some supernatural, completely unbelievable shit.
"What?"
"Yeah, six dudes, bare-ass naked appeared at the door out of freaking nowhere and put up one hell of a fight before they took their unconscious little sissy and fucking teleported their bare asses to fuck-knows-where,"
What the hell!
At that moment, I mentally screamed like a madwoman.
Okay, with the risk of sounding like a total coward, in that specific moment I truly felt so grateful for not being here, under the same roof with them when all that happened. Not to mention that there was nothing I could've done to help them anyway!
Because after all, let's just face it; unlike any other being currently roaming inside this house, I was just a human. Only a puny little human...That last thought clung at the front of my mind as my gaze eventually refocused back on Rick, that sole thought quickly making me remember exactly what he was and how we obviously didn't fit in the same cathegory... Not anymore anyway...
"Yeah...some serious shit went down here in these past few months. That's why we didn't want you anywhere near this house, Leila," He calmly said as he scooted closer to the edge of the couch, close enough so that his long fingers could reach and grab ahold of my jean-clad thigh. And before I could even make myself aware of his intentions he had already pulled me right towards him, making me trip over my own feet and land in his lap with an "oof".
"We just wanted to keep you safe," He so sincerely said as those honey eyes gazed right back into my own, feeling my heart already starting to pound inside my chest as those very same eyes lowered to my lips, and before I could even take a second breath he crushed his against mine into a fervent, hot kiss.
Blake
I curled myself into a fetal position as soon as he gently placed me over the bed, only now slowly but surely starting to feel the negative effects after two days of sitting in the same position, unfed and poorly rested as those dark moments replayed themselves over and over again in my head... For the millionth time remembering how in the fraction of a second all hell broke loose the moment those six bastards broke into our house, in less than a minute finding myself fighting against them all alone as they so easily managed to knock Ricky out cold and Luc as well...Well since the latter wouldn't shut up about that stupid cosmic rule and how he was not allowed to intervene or kill any of them and disrupt the balance or some shit like that, not to mention that Raph and Raz weren't exactly even capable of fighting them after that powerful blast, effectively letting me fight with them all by myself, struggling in vain since I were obviously outnumbered and overpowered as well, completely vulnerable at the hands of six devious demons. My body let out a small shiver at the disgusting memory of those bastards holding me against my will, their touches and sick jokes still making my stomach churn, feeling yet another tear slip over the side of my face as those feelings of dread and helplessnes once again washed all over me, only now noticing how Raphael quietly moved to exit my room, for once, the thought of being left all alone making me feel so...scared.
So scared that without even giving it a second thought, my arm left the warmth and comfort of my chest to stretch out in a futile attempt to reach towards him, with pleading and teary eyes regarding him as I weakly begged,
"Don't...leave me..."
And surprisingly enough, before I could even utter another word he was already right next to my bed, the metal frame underneath creaking under his heavy weight as with gentle moves, he sat then laid his head on the pillow right next to mine, our calm breaths almost mingling as we silently gazed into each other's eyes, the mere sight of his angelic features and the comforting warmth of his presence finally lulling me into a serene, dreamless slumber.
