Adrien looked forward to Patrol time. It was one of the only times he had to hang out with his best friends. He enjoyed the time just Paris and each other was the only thing between them. The heroes definitely had a friendship growing between each other.

Ever since Queen Bee had become a hero Adrien noticed at the same time that Chloe started to become more... tolerable. She still had a way to go but it was a start.

Hmm. What a weird consequence that as soon as there's a new hero Chloe has a change of heart. Paris was full of weird consequences.

"Hey man." Carapace's voice broke through the air landing on the same building Chat had, joining him.

"Carapace, hey." He greeted him. "On your way to Eiffel Tower?"

"The usual spot for Patrol." He confirmed.

"Right, right." He said casual. "Last one there is a-"

"See you later slow poke." Carapace called to Chat on his way to the Eiffel Tower.

"Oh it is on." Chat called catching up to Carapace.

While Carapace took jumping from building to building as a transportation method, Chat instead used his staff on the ground.

"Who you calling slow poke tortoise?" He called.

"How many of your nine lives have you wasted trying to win?" He fired back.

"Oh why you..."

The two raced towards the meeting spot in the shield of night. In almost nearing the tower to two decided to play dirty by trying to mess the other one up. In a final leap of faith both caught the edge of the Eiffel Tower proclaiming themself as the victor.

"I won!"

"No I did!" They went back and forth between each other.

"I did." A gloved black hand appeared between the two to help them up on the beam.

Looking up at the orange suit, hair in a ponytail along with orange fox ears gave away who it was. The boys let out a defeated sigh taking a hold of Rena Rouge's hand as she helped them both up.

"Technically we both did." Queen Bee's voice broke through the air.

"If you're getting technical." Rena nodded. "It's always a competition between you two boys." She crossed her arms looking them up and down.

"Then where's the fun?" Chat wondered.

"Superhero-ing isn't all about fun." Rena cut in.

Carapace and Chat looked at her skeptical.

"Okay... maybe some of it is." She retracted her statement from earlier. "Especially when you're saving the day with-"

"-Ladybug." Rena and Bee finished in unison. They had to admit it was still really hard to think about the fact that they were saving the day along side their idol was the new normal.

"Can't argue there." Chat agreed. "Speaking of which is she here yet?"

"No, Rena and I came together and you two raced here." Bee informed.

"Probably taking her time. Lady's need the most." He smiled off into the distance.

"Ugh I can't anymore." Carapace couldn't help it. "Dude, everyone knows who've got a massive crush on her and we thought it was in our best interest to help you." He wrapped an arm around him.

"Aww guys that really-"

"Then that way we can stop hearing 'Oh yes Ladybug I would love to go on a date' and 'I never thought this day would come, why yes you will marry me' a lot less." Rena interrupted.
