Dio acknowledges violence as an answer. After being on a battlefield, he would have to be a fool not to. Violence gives quick, irreversible, and dramatic results, which is exactly why Dio believes it is never, under any circumstances, the best answer. A pacifist at heart, but an aggressor on impulse, Emidio Scaevola has the potential to become a passionate friend who is willing to put his life on the line to assist those who are of good intentions.
