I miss you.
I miss the smoke free house
I miss the days when you weren't drinking beer every time I saw you.
I miss the goodnight hug
I miss the goodnight handshake
I miss the dad who cared
The dad who when I was younger was my version of a superhero
I miss my real dad
I don't know who you are anymore
I miss the dad who I felt was there for me when I needed him.
The man who let us ride in the back of the pickup
The man who wasn't always in his phone.
The one who was here for the family not because it's his duty.
The man who loved my mom and the kids.
I miss you.
I want you back
Can I just have you back.
