"Y-you what," Alastor stuttered and blushed.
Charlie broke away from the hug with fear of rejection clouding her thoughts. She stood in front of Alastor shocked she said that. Alastor got up with his head down. Charlie closed her eyes because she feared what he was going to say. All of a sudden she felt a hand on her face. She opened her eyes to see a different side of Alastor, he had a very soft expression.
"Charlie, my dear I would be lying if I said I didn't feel the same way about you," he said softly.
Charlie stood there baffled.
"Y-you what!!" She exclaimed.
"I said I love you Charlie," Alastor said and hugged her tight,"the day I met you I loved your smile and determination I quickly learned what this feeling was, I hadn't felt it in such a long time," he explained.
"Now then my dear we have a hotel to run," he put his hand on her face, smiled, and walked out.
Charlie watched him go when it set in that she had a boyfriend. She ran out after him and they held each other's hands until they entered the main room to keep their connection a secret.
