Onto the story!

Logicality, Prinxiety, and Demus

We set this scene as such: Patton, a bubbly character, running around and decorating everything. Roman, who helped with the creative whimsy, was following with a huge smile. Logan simply sat in his chair, rereading A Study in Scarlett, one of his favorites. And finally, Virgil, who seated himself sprawled out on the couch, eyes closed and music blasting in his ears.

However, two of our...ahem, characters were missing. Who could they be? Let's take a look.

Patton...Roman...Logan...Virgil...ah yes. The dark sides.

Remus and Deceit were at their side of the mind. They had separated themselves long ago, so as to help Thomas.

Remus sighed. "Dee, why can't we go over? Patton has invited us anyways." He hated spending Christmas, of all times, away from his brother. Almost as much as he hated his brother!

Deciet glanced over from where he was sat. "I've told you. They don't actually want us anyways." Though he said this, he wanted to go over badly.

See, Patton had "forced" the two into participating in Secret Santa this year. Neither of them had gotten the other.

Deciet had gotten Logan, so he knew the perfect presents. He chose a book on philosophers, as well as a new tie.

Remus, however, had gotten Patton. He had no clue what to get someone who was so...unlike him. He wasn't allowed to ask for help either. After a lot of thinking, most of it out loud to himself in his room, he got Patton a toy cat that purred like a real one, and did everything basically like a real one. Except it wouldn't bug his allergies, nor did he have to feed our water it. Plus it didn't require a litter box, always a bonus.

Remus looked at him. "We already have the presents! Let's just go...for an hour or two? It wont hurt us, and I'll be good!"

Deceit sighed, standing and adjusting his cape. "One hour. Then we come back, okay?"

The dirty minded side bounced on his feet. Sometimes, I swear, he acts more childlike than Patton did. Both of them sunk out, appearing in the living room of the light sides.

Virgil and Logan both looked over, Virgil rolling his eyes. "Oh great," he sighed. "You two."

Dee's eyes filled with disappointment. "Yes, it's definitely a pleasure, Virgil," he snapped.

Patton and Roman came in. "You guys made it!" Patton ran over, one arm around each of the darker sides. "Do you have the Secret Santa presents?"

Both boys held up wrapped presents, Remus with a grin and Deceit with a look of 'duh'.

Roman chuckled. "You two made it. Amazing." He went and sat next to Virgil's head, playing with his hair.
