Dr. Lescue sat intently looking at a piece of human brain through a monocle. How he got that piece of brain shall be left up to the mind of the reader, but it was certainly not obtained in an ethical manner. He carefully injected it with a syringe full of his special concoction, sat back, and waited. The brain started to pulse, and dark, spider-like veins burst out and began to crawl all over it. Murdock started laughing manically. "The time is near," he whispered to the dead man laying on the floor next to him,"Oh so very near."
