She knows, deep down, that one day being neighbors with a male bestfriend would get her into trouble someday.
And that trouble came in the form of Jeon Jungkook, looking hot and attractive as ever, who was now opening then shutting the door of her house close.

He's done with her shutting him out. He thought he would wait, but no, not anymore.

"Wh- why did you lock it?"

He shouldn't make her feel nervous.
He shouldn't be cornering her to the wall.

"You drive me crazy, Lalisa. You do."

They should never feel each others body heat this close.
He shouldn't inch closer and she shouldn't let him.

Their lips should never, ever, touch like this.
His hands should never cup her face like that.
But she knows, she hates it when he pulls away.

"How does it feel? Does it feel wrong to you?"

His breath tickles her and she knows bestfriends should keep their distance at least one step from each other.
Not this close. Never this close.
But she can't help but staring back at him. At his eyes that are able to draw her attention to him and him only.
She shouldn't look at her bestfriend like this.
Not this intimate. Never this intimate.
And definitely she should keep her lips to herself. But ...

"I don't know," she whispered. "I--"

He pulls her into another kiss. Convincingly, adoringly, lovingly.
He shouldn't shut his bestfriend with a kiss like that. That's just wrong.
"It feels so right to me."

"Kook." Her voice shouldn't tremble whispering his name, but shit it does. "You're with Nancy."

"I'm not," he said. "We never happened."  Damn that eyes.

"But you and me, we could."
Damn that voice.

"Can I do that again?"
Can he? Should she let him?
Maybe she shouldn't.
But ... why not?

A nod.
That's all he needs to put all the love, frustration, jealousy, adoration, that he has been keeping for years in a kiss.
