It's strange how our personalities switched when we went to college. 

You were the cheerful friend while I remained in the gloomy clouds of pessimism

you stayed by since middle school where I didn't really care if you were my friend or not

I didn't know that you were hurting inside, and I feel terrible for committing atrocities that harmed your well being

we were so similar though, our parents owned small shops to bring the cash in

I remember meeting after school together at mom's old shop 

then we began talking too much

we shared feelings and interests 

and now I am wondering if you can lend an ear to listen
