"She had a smile
as bright as summer.
Until the world tore it away."

Tatiana looked at her brother proudly. He was having a good time with the Godfrey girl and she couldn't be happier for him. She looked around searching for her sister and her eyes fell on Roman Godfrey, who was giving death glares to Oscar. He looked like he was in some kind of trance and his blue eyes fixated on her brother gave her creeps. She walked up to him with the intention of distracting him from the two.

"What are you even dressed as, anyway?" She asked him, since he didn't have a costume, just a suit. He didn't asnwer her, he didn't even look at her, although she was sure he had heard her.

"Actually, you don't need a costume. You're scary enough without one anyway." In that moment, he looked at her in spite for a second and she couldn't help but ask:

"Why are you like this? It's not normal." She realized trying to have a conversation with him would be pointless, so she made one final shot.

"Do you know what they say about Peter Rumancek here? People say he turns into a wolf every full moon. They say he can't be killed." He looked at him to see that his trance was gone, replaced by a wicked smile and a look she couldn't quite read.

"And do you believe them?"

"No. Anyone can be killed." A moment passed before she spoke again.

"Do you believe all the rumors? That someone in my family killed Brooke Bluebell?"

"No." He simply answered, and something about him made her certain he was telling the truth.

"Then why are you looking at my brother like that? He's just talking to her." He gave a sad look.

"It's not about him. Sure, Oscar is creeping me out sometimes, but this is about Letha. I don't want to let her make the same bad choices I made and live the life I'm living." She didn't know what to say. She hasn't expected this.

"I mean, look at me. Every two weeks, I'm paying you loads of money for some goddamn drugs only Oscar makes." She looked at him and it was like she was seeing him for the first time. His hair was chestnut brown, perfectly styled, his eyes a deep blue. The sadness he was struggling to hide gave him a haunting, vulnerable look. If only, it had made him look more handsome to her. She wanted to reach him, break through the armor of his spite. But that was only a child's fancy, she thought as she looked in his eyes and realized he couldn't care less about her. If there was anything she was good at, it was reading people's eyes.

And he has never looked at her with anything but resentment, since her family was the only thing standing between him and his guilty pleasure. She could tell that he was trying to give up his addiction and she hoped that once the drugs were gone, he would give her a chance to be his friend. So she found herself telling him something she would most likely regret.

"Let's burn it. The drugs." He looked at her with shock and then he laughed. He laughed and she couldn't help but smile.
"You're serious?" She nodded.

As the biggest rsource of money her family had was turning to ashes, she started to regret her decision. But there was no coming back now. She locked eyes with Roman.

"I don't like you, Tatiana. I never have. But I appreciate this." He looked her in the eye. She tried to picture Oscar's expression when he'll find out what she did and a chill went up and down her spine. Her brother had serious anger issues, and everytime he got angry, everything around him shattered to pieces.

"I did this for you. I can't explain why, because I don't know either. But if anything happens to my family, I'll fucking come for you." Her blue eyes shot burning daggers at him. "We good?"

"Y-Yeah, I think so." It was clear that he was taken by surprise. One minute she was kind, and then she was wicked. Looks like it runs in the family.
