Chapter 4-Sarah's Power

Sarah: Actually, I AM the crazy fan

All 5: WHAT?!

-7th June 2019, Third Person POV-

Amanda: So you're telling me that YOU sneaked in a microphone?

Janessa: Seriously?!

Gracie: Why would you do that?!

Lim Ni: Yea ok but what does that have to do with a superpower?

Klaudia: Yeah, I'm more curious about this superpower of yours

Sarah: *sighs* No, I didn't sneak in a microphone. I was just super excited and I was having a lot of fun and...

Janessa: And...?

Sarah: I just shouted I love you Jungkook... but it came out a lot louder than I expected

Gracie: That doesn't sound very believable

Sarah: I know, I couldn't really believe it myself, but it's the truth I swear!

Amanda: Ehhh, prove it!

Sarah: What?! No!!

Amanda: Why not? Klaudia showed us hers so it's only fair!

Gracie: I agree with Sarah. Klaudia's power is harmless light but Sarah's is loud noise

Lim Ni: Good point, I'd rather not have neighbours complaining

Janessa: Also if the neighbours complain how will we explain things to them?

Amanda: But I wanna see more cool powers!

Gracie: We just have to take Sarah's word for it

Amanda: Ok...

Lim Ni: So, Sarah has some weird shouting ability, Klaudia can make light and Gra-

Janessa covered Lim Ni's mouth before she could finish

Janessa: And you're grateful that the crazy fan isn't crazy and is just our friend Sarah, right?

Lim Ni: Yea, right.

The other 4 looked at them in slight confusion, but brushed it off.

Amanda: Who else knows about these powers?

Sarah: Huh? What do you mean?

Amanda: Like, have you told anyone else that you have a superpower?

Klaudia: Oh, no. It's only the six of us that know

Gracie: Are you planning to tell anyone about it?

Sarah: I don't know about Klaudia, but I'd rather not? I mean, if word gets out that I have this power people will probably deduce that I was the crazy fan

Janessa: Then you'll just be attacked by everyone on the internet

Sarah: Yes, exactly. I'd rather not have some conteoversy at the age of 12. No thank you! What about you Klaudia?

Klaudia: Uhhh I don't know yet

Amanda: I personally don't think you should. Sure, these powers are cool and you'll probably be super well known and stuff if the public knows. But the disadvantages I'd say definitely outweigh the advantages

Gracie: (oh god she's going into serious mode)

Janessa: (Amanda you need to chill)

Amanda: Think about all the bad stuff that can come with it. Something more minor would be you get tons of haters calling you fake and a liar,

Klaudia: That's considered MINOR?!

Amanda:... or something major like a mad scientist will kidnap you and do experiments and stuff on you. It's unlikely, but not impossible. Then there's also-

Klaudia: Okay, we get it. I shouldn't make my powers public.

Amanda: Well not exactly, sure, in my opinion the disadvantages are bad but maybe you might think that the advantages make the risk worth it. I'm not forcing you I'm just sayi-

Lim Ni: Ok thank you for your insights, Amanda Chua

Klaudia: Well, after that speech I think it's pretty clear that disclosing my power to the public is out of the question

Gracie: Wow, so the four of us are like, the only ones that know

Gracie: I wish I had a power too though, imagine all the things I could do!

Lim Ni, Janessa, and Amanda: (You have no idea...)

Amanda: Hey Klaudia, what else can you do with your power?

Klaudia: Well, Sarah and I kind of experimented a bit yesterday so i have learnt a few tricks

Klaudia: For example, I can control the light in various aspects. You've already seen me control the size of my little orb of light but there's more I can do

Klaudia did the same thing before, making the sphere of orange light, but this time, the light's brightness varied. One second it was dim and hardly noticable, and the next it was shining as bright as the sun

Janessa: Woahh! What else can you do?

Klaudia gave a knowing smirk. With concentration and practice she had learnt how to do a little light show. First, the orb of light started changing colours. From the default orange, to yellow, green, blue, purple, red, and back to orange. Once it returned to its original colour, Klaudia clasped her two hands together, before opening them up, with tiny bits of orange light raining down on the six girls.

Sarah: Woah! It's like snow!

Gracie: Pretty!!

Everyone was enchanted by the fascinating things Klaudia could do with her newfound power

Sarah: Hey Klaudia, you should show them the laser beam!

Klaudia: Ok!

Klaudia raised her arm and after a few seconds of straining, a bright orange beam shot out from her arm and into... Janessa's eyes! Janessa shrieked from the shock

Gracie: Janessa! Are you okay?

Klaudia: Ah! I'm so sorry! Janessa are you okay?

Everybody crowded around Janessa, concerned. Janessa opened her eyes slowly, and her pupils were... Orange?!

Janessa: Ah! I can't see!
