Cassie's POV

It's 4am and i didn't get much sleep i got an hour maybe i don't know. I head downstairs and make some peppermint & marshmallow hot chocolate then sit on the bar with it.  Damon  &  I are slowly getting to where we actually hug and such but that's pretty much it maybe kiss but we are just going at slower pace til we get this shit right and if I don't like something i'll tell him straight up.

"Hey angel what's wrong?" Damon asks concerned

I jump and scream "sorry, you scared me" i say then chuckle because it's  funny to me for some odd reason.

He chuckles and hugs me from behind "well, now i can hug and squeeze you tightly"

I giggle and hug his arms "even though your a gang leader your a sucker for me" i say smiling

He shrugs "yeah, well" he says smiling

I giggle and shake my head "crazy ass"
