Cassie's POV
You ever get the feeling that something bad is gonna happen? Well I've got that and I'm freaking the fuck out!!!
"Why isn't richard here?" I ask
Chole looks down "umm.... he's in the hospital"
"What?! Why?!" I ask panicking
"He had a heart attack this morning they are doing everything they can" chole says
"We have to go see him" i say
She nods and grabs the keys to lock up. We get in her car and drive to the hospital. I send damon a text.
Cassie: get to er fast!!!
Damon: whoa what's going on baby?
Cassie: it's richard! He's had a heart attack!!
Damon: okay! I'm on the way.
We arrive at the hospital and wait for damon to arrive. He soon does and we go see richard.
"H-hey e-everyone" he say weakly
"Richard, are you gonna be okay?" I ask
He takes my hand "sweetie, the doctors don't know for sure yet. But i can assure you you'll be just fine"
Tears fill my eyes "you can't die!!" I say crying
"If it's the good lord's will babygirl there's nothing we can do" he says smiling weakly
A/N: hey sorry to interrupt i don't know y'all's religious beliefs but Richard believes in god so if you don't then I'm sorry i guess just skip this.
After talking with richard damon&i leave him&chole alone while we go grab coffee.
"How are you holding up?" Damon asks
I sigh "freaking out!! He's like an uncle to me"
Damon sits next to me and kisses my hand "princess, i know but I'll be here for you no matter what"
I nod "i know baby i know I'm just gonna miss him"
"I think we all will" he says
*hours later*
Chole comes out crying we run to her and hug her she hugs back.
"He's gone isn't he?" I ask
She nods "y-yes"
We cry together with her.
"Chole, if you need somewhere to stay your more than welcomed at mine" damon says
She smiles "oh your so sweet! I don't wanna be any trouble"
"Nonsense you can stay as long as you'd like. It's gonna be hard for you and you need people around you" damon says smiling
