Alex grins at his phone, glancing at Byron across the other side of the bed. He's not met with a laughing, smirking Byron though and instead gets a pillow to the head.
"Calling me dumb, asshole?"
"Ow, Byron." Alex cups his forehead and scowls at the man as he kneels on the bed and lifts the pillow again. Between them Lachlan sleeps peacefully, undisturbed. To Alex's other side sits Sol, reading a book and ignoring them.
"Answer the question," Byron growls and Alex hastily pushes up onto his own knees, bringing his own pillow with him. Byron scowls and starts to hit him again but Alex swings and whacks Byron in the side of the face.
