*Dan's POV*
"Mom, where's my phone!?" I practically screamed down the hollow, silent corridor. No reply came from my mom's room, which caused me to become slightly frustrated with my forgetful self, I was going to be late. As I searched my room and many others for my iPhone, I tripped and heard something crack.
I looked on the floor to see a white, square item on the floor. I picked it up and became aware I had smashed the thing I was looking for. Great.
I had no time to even do anything, because my friends were at the door. I rushed down my creeky wooden stairs and landed on the ground unharmed, and so I opened the door to find Felix and Anthony standing before me.
"Whats up bro?" Felix greeted, I smiled remembering that I'd spent a whole night watching his videos on his channel. For a swedish exchange student, he had a really good sense of humour. "Not much." I said happily. "I spent my weekend with Ian and we made some cutscenes for our upcoming Food Battle." Anthony beamed. "Cool. Come on where gonna be late." Oh god, I sounded like my mom.
We made our way to school, and to my suprise when I arrived, someone I never expected to see smiled at me, Phil. It looked like he'd made a lot of effort to cover up the bruises I knew he'd got. He always used a foundation that looked too dark for his pale complexion, I'd never been fooled. His blue eyes shimmered in the light and the little flecks of green moved around, making his eyes even more amazing.
This boy was driving me crazy.
                              *Phil's POV*
As I stood by the entrance of the school, I carefully tried to blend the foundation on my neck, in fear that people would see the slight purple tinge on my skin and assume I'd been hit. I had, but that was a secret I had to keep. It wasn't working and as I looked over my appearance in the mirror, I could see that I had rubbed some off, leaving a small bit of purple showing. I tried to cover my neck with my scarf and to my suprise, it helped.
The bell had rung and people were vacating the hallway to start the day, I however was waiting for Dan. I just hoped and prayed I'd be able to see him and go with him to class, but I began to wonder if he was ill and staying at home. But then he walked in, side by side with Anthony and Felix. He stopped and stared at me, I smiled and he continued staring at me, looking deep in thought.
                              What was his problem?
