[she suddenly bumped into someone.
looking up, it was a stranger]

[his deep voice gave her chills as she tried to release her arm from his firm grip]

[starts stammering]

MAN
[smiles wickedly]

"little girl, what are you doing all alone at night? come home with daddy and we'll play."

[the man proceeds to cover her mouth and carry her in his arms towards his car.

no one was on the streets this late at night, no one could hear her muffled screams.

"nari get to my house and tell mom. call the police as well"

[nari runs to yeonjun's house and knocks on the door]

"nari? wait- are you okay? what happened"

[let's nari in and closes the door]

[shakes her head and sobs as she was embraced by mrs. choi]

"call the police m-mom.
a man just tried to abduct me a-and yeonjun came out of nowhere and is there beating him u-up"

[sighs and rubs her temples]

[nari sits on the couch sobbing as mrs choi called the police.
soon after, the door swung open revealing yeonjun.
his hands were bloodied and bruised, angst evident in his eyes]

[runs to yeonjun and hugs him tightly]

"jun you i-idiot"

[sighs and returns his embrace]

"first off all, you're the idiot walking home, late at night ALL alone.

secondly, yes i'm alright. are you alright? lastly, why the fuck were you alone?"

NARI
[hiccups and sniffles]

"i'm alright now that y-you're here. i went out on a date with s-soobin and snuck out."

YEONJUN
"i'll always be here nari, always."

[frowns]

"-why didn't he walk you home then?"

NARI

anyways, soobin had to go home
since i told him i'd be okay walking back alone"

YEONJUN
[sighs]

"i love you, i'll keep you safe from now on. next time, tell me where you are. you don't know how angry i was when i saw that man hurt you"

[loosens embrace from nari]

"call your mom and tell her you're sleeping over at my house. also, apologise to her for sneaking out"

[walks away from nari and goes up to his room]
