(tilts his head in confusion)

(sighs)

(looks at the man)

"wait, this man? mister lee?"

MR. LEE
(nods his head and hangs it low)

"i'm sorry soobin, i'm afraid your mother has done it again,"

SOOBIN
"mom put you up to this again didn't she?"

(mr. lee nods his head before he starts sobbing uncontrollably again)

YEONJUN
(rubs his temples with fingertips before rolling his eyes)

"this man confessed but keeps on crying!"

NARI
(frowns in confusion)

"soobin, were you not aware of anything else your mother was doing?"

SOOBIN
"i do know she tried to pull the same stunt last year but i stopped her. she promised me she wouldn't do it again!"

YEONJUN
(sighs)

NARI
(shoots a glare at yeonjun)

"is your mom always this crazy for money?"

SOOBIN
(sighs)

"we're already well to do, i don't understand why she wants more and more"

MR. LEE
"the will is for you soobin! everything in it! you could easily live without your deceitful mother!"

SOOBIN
(ponders sadly before fidgeting with his fingers)

"i can't even count the number of crimes she's committed without getting caught"

NARI
"soobin, please you have to do this for me.

SOOBIN
(slams his fists angrily on the table)

"i have no other family nari! the person that should be hurting is me!

YEONJUN
(places a reassuring hand on soobin's back)

"soobin, you have us. you know you do. we're your family.
what your mother did was still wrong.

(mumbles)

SOOBIN
(covers his face with his hands and begins letting the tears fall)

(controls his breathing and wipes away his tears)

NARI
"what do you mean?"

(sniffles)
"i'm going to confront her. if she isn't honest with me, i'll finally report her.

(places an arm reassuringly around soobin)

"i can't blame you for being born into a family with a mother like that"

SOOBIN
"i'm sorry jun and nari. i hurt you guys so much"

(yeonjun and nari embrace soobin in a hug as mr. lee watches them, a small smile forming on his face)

MR. LEE
"let's work together to make things right. i'll testify for you soobin, if things get out of hand,"

SOOBIN
(sniffles sadly before looking at mr. lee with his puffy eyes)
