Cassie's P.O.V.
I stayed in the hospital with him for almost a week now. My dad is refusing to let me skip school again today to stay with him. He doesn't seem to understand how much we need each other.
Corbyn's P.O.V.
"I have to go to school today." She says. I don't want her to go. I hold onto her arm. She sighs, "I'm sorry Corbyn. I have to go, I can't stay with you." I let go and I give her sad puppy eyes. She just walks out without saying another word. A nurse walks in with my breakfast of spongy pancakes and a hard biscuit. I set it to the side. "You've got to eat, we need to get you to a fighting weight. We can't release you if you don't eat." I shake my head "I-I'm n-not h-hungry." She sighs and leaves me with the tray in hopes I'd eat it.
