A sonnet
I long and wish for love that feels like fire
Untamed, unpredictable, unexpected
A love where we, each other can admire
In a way that no other ever could
A lover whose eyes can unrest my soul
Eyes that can send bumps streaming down my skin
Who can read my feelings like from a scroll
Our harmony like a violin
I long for love that I will never doubt
For someone to hold me through every storm
Through each tear, and laugh, and scream, and shout
A fiery love to keep me warm
I long for a love that outshines the night
I long for someone to be my light
