Long distance is seeing them everywhere
Its taking yourself to the movies
And hoping no one sits next to you
So you can drape your arm across the arm rest and pretend that they are there
Holding your hand
Its ordering too much food for yourself
Because you are used to finishing it when they are there
It's texting them right before
And texting them right after
Telling them to go watch it
Cause you want to talk to them about it
Its "I won't spoil it for you, but" whispered over the phone late that night
Its the hope that maybe
You'll get to see the sequel
Together
