Chapter 28:MACE

Damon's POV

This is it!This is it!I felt nervous yet so excited for today's event.I even packed my things in the fastest way that I can.I rushed towards the comfort room and done my morning rituals after that I change into my clothes.Black shirt paired with jeans and a pair of black sneakers.

Someone knocked on my door and I opened it.

"Are you ready?"tumambad sa akin ang nakangiting mukha ni Blade.

"Yes I'm ready but a little bit nervous."I gave him a smile as an assurance that I can do it.

He patted my head and ruffled my hair.

"Oh by the way,may sulat kang natanggap mula sa Magia hindi ba?"he asked me while I was fixing my entangled hair.

"Yes,why?"

"Hindi tayo magkasabay na pupunta sa academy,instead may susundo sayo.Once you put your signature on that piece of paper,someone from the academy will fetch you here and bring you to the venue of MACE.We will be on our own by then."Oh so ganun pala yun.

"Uhhmm..Okay"He smiled as I agreed to him.

"So ano?kitakits nalang tayo sa Academy?"Joyce said as the man wearing black suit carried my things.

"I guess so?"

"Galingan mo ha."Payton gave me a punch on my shoulder.

"Kuya Mon,I know you can make it."Ridge smiled so wide as if he know that I was going to pass.

"Kyaaahhh!!Sana makapasa ka para magkita ulit tayo sa academy!"Steally shouted above her lungs.

They gave me a group hug and I have felt the trust that they have given to me.This feels like home,so comfy,so relaxing.In a short period of time that we have been together,they have made a great impact in my life.They have taught me many things.

Matapos naming mamaalam sa isa't-isa ay sumakay na ako sa sasakyang magdadala sa akin sa akademya but before all those figures fade I saw Duke giving me wink and a wide smile.I felt thousand butterflies panicking inside my stomach and all my blood rushed towards my face making it so red.

"Sir,pwede po kayong matulog kung gusto niyo at kung nagugutom po kayo pindutin niyo lang ang red button sa tabi ng upuan niyo."Wow infairness ang husky ng boses nitong lalaking to ah pero parang sobrang formal naman yata ng "Sir" hahahhaa.Mahayaan na nga.

A snap crack in the air occured as a chain glowing on blue appeared on my wrist.Lumingon ako sa tabi ko at...tama nga ako.Lazarus was sitting beside me while grinning at me.

"Sino sila?"tanong ng lalaki kay Lazarus.Mukhang warshak si kuya kay Lazarus ah.

"Ah kuya kasama ko po siya, isa po siya sa mga nilalang na pwede kong tawagin gamit ang magie ko."Binigyan ko siya ng ngiting peke saka lumingon kay Lazarus.

Pesteng ahas to bibigyan pako ng problema ah.I give out a deep sigh as the nervousness crawled through out my system.I closed my eyes thinking how to push it away but I didn't notice that I was too tired for all the trainings I have done that made me fall asleep.

I was walking in the full darkness when a light suddenly appeared meters away from me.I rushed towards it and I saw a man a wearing black cloak.As he turned to me,a familiar face was caught by my eyes.It was Devin.My other half.

"Don't mess up with the test or else I will take over of your body and do what I want."He gave me a smirk as his body fades turning into purple smoke.
