"You're familiar," you told me,
flashing the brightest smile.

Smiling back — with a sincere one that is,
I nodded. But of course I was familiar with you.

Campus, I suppose?

"So are you," I replied.

That's when I realised
that my friends had already
left me there with you.

"Jeon Jungkook,"
you introduced yourself.

"Lalisa Manoban," I told you.

You repeated my name
under your breath, chuckling after that.
"Guess I'll be uttering your name
more often, don't you think?"

"Aren't you a flirt?" I boldly said.

You lifted your brows up.
I assumed that you would leave me alone.
I mean, who wouldn't?

Someone just called you a flirt
for just merely being friendly.

"Guess I'm caught red-handed?"
you chuckled once again,
which caught me off-guard.

"Excuse me?"
I arched an eyebrow,
obviously confused.

"You're pretty,"
you told me.
"Like, really pretty."

I continued to arch an eyebrow,
simply nodding at you
as I averted my gaze elsewhere
whilst drinking the iced tea I had.

"What? Don't believe me?" you asked.

"Heard that all my life,"
I conceitedly told you —
which was a new method I was trying
to make you stay away yourself.

I mean, who would like to flirt
with someone conceited?

"Tell me something I don't know,"
I continued to sip on my iced tea.

You gave me an amused smile,
but this time, laughing.

"I like you,"
you straightforwardly told me,
which caused me to look at you,
completely dazed and confused.

"What? Don't tell me you
already know that, too?"
You wiggled his eyebrows at me.

So, you are a flirt.

"But I won't mind if you already know,"
you smiled, mischief easily seen.

"You like me for what?"
I amusingly looked at you.
"This pretty face?"

But of course,
I still had to keep that conceited image
just in case you hate it.

"Looks can be deceiving," I warned you.

You replied with a low chuckle.
"Then I'm willing to sulk
in your honey-laced lies, sparky."

"Sparky?" I scoffed.
"What am I, a fucking dog?"

"Easy on the language," you shushed me.
"It's cause there was this spark
when our eyes met earlier."

Still engrossed in the weird nickname,
I looked at you in an odd manner.

"Didn't expect you to smile back," you told me.

"Okay, I've had enough.
Can't you just leave me alone?"

"You smiled back," you shrugged.
"Your smile was my go signal
to enter your life from now on."

At that moment,
I wished I never smiled at you.
