𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒆𝒚 𝒋𝒖𝒏𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒓 was freaking the fuck out. normally she was calm and collected but after what she just read in episode three's script there was possibly no way she could be! "harley, what's going on? why are you spamming my phone?"

from her spot on the couch in her trailer, she stared at matt in disbelief, "w-why am i freaking out? i'm—i'm sorry did you not flipping read the script we just got?!"

matt chuckled, "calm down, harley," he flattened his lips to fight down the grin of amusement pulling at his lips. he didn't fully understand why she was freaking out but that's because he didn't know the truth about johnny. no one except hazel, austin, and ivy did.

a scoff escaped harley's lips, "did you just tell me to calm down? matthew, i have to kiss joshua bassett tomorrow!" she exclaimed, throwing her hands up. her eyes wide.

this could not be fucking happening to her. harley has made it her mission to not let him grow close because she knew she'd fall too fast for her own good and now she had to lock lips with her smooth and attractive co-star that has very much enjoyed tormenting her by sending her pick up lines for the past month and a half with no explanation.

"why are you freaking out about this?" the amusement quickly fell from his face and now he was just staring at harley in concern.

harley ran her hands through her hair in frustration as she shouted on the verge of tears, "because the last person i kissed cheated on me!" she covered her mouth in shock at what she just revealed to not only matt but anyone who was in the near vicinity of her trailer.

matt stared at harley in shock.

"yeah," harley nodded her head, "cats out of the bag, i guess. i'm sorry for springing that on you. it's just i'm the type of person to fall way too fast and i've spent all this time keeping josh at arms length, so i don't fall for him and now i am terrified that it's all gonna be for nothing because of one scripted kiss."

once the shock wore off, matt gazed at harley with sympathy. he had no idea how to comfort her but he did know that he wanted to punch that johnny's guys face in for hurting harley the way he did.

a small knock echoed through matt's end of the phone before his trailer door opened and his green eyes widened significantly. he turned towards the phone and spoke hurriedly before hanging up the phone, not wanting to tell harley that josh had just walked into his trailer. "hey, we'll talk more later but just know you're going to be fine, i promise!"

harley sighed, falling face first into her couch to muffle her scream of frustration. she sat up in a huff, exclaiming, "why does everyone hang up on me when i need them the most?!"
