     𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒆𝒚 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒍𝒆𝒘𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒍𝒅𝒊 𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒏 𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒕𝒚 𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝒂𝒕 𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒉𝒊𝒈𝒉. she had some free time between scenes and decided to allow herself to breath, austin had went back to l.a. last night and harley already found herself missing her best friend. she knows she told austin and sofia that she'd tell josh the truth about her feelings but right when she was about to. . . fear consumed her and she chickened out. and now, she was doing the exact thing she told austin she'd stop doing: avoiding him.

     and harley hated herself for it.

     she breathed heavily as the song came to an end, she bent over to pick up her ice cold hydro flask and took a few big gulps of the refreshing water before throwing her hair up into a high ponytail and putting the song on repeat.

     but before she could start dancing again, a startled yelp escaped past her lips as the door to the room she was in was burst open. she turned toward the culprit who scared the hell out of her and she swallowed nervously. "josh, hi."

     the curly haired boy looked at harley in disbelief. "that's it? that's all you have to say to me? "josh, hi," harley, you've been avoiding me since our kiss scene and i've just about had it," josh sighed out, exhaustion written all over his face.

     guilt swarmed over her like a tsunami. "please let me explain myself—"

"you don't need to explain yourself, harley," josh cut her off, sadness seeping into his tone as he cracked his knuckles, "i get it. you don't— your feelings are strictly platonic and you know mine aren't so you keep avoiding me when we aren't shooting but you don't have to, okay? i'll just ignore my feelings—"

this time josh was cut off when harley's hands gripped the sides of his neck and pulled him towards her, crashing her lips onto his. once his moment over shock wore off, he immediately reciprocated the kiss, letting their lips mold together in a kiss that made both parties smile.

reluctantly, josh pulled away from this kiss slowly, whispering, "what was that for?" it was almost as if he was afraid to speak louder, thinking somebody would walk in and ruin this intimate moment between the two that was long overdue.

"because i love you."

josh beamed a smile at harley's whispered confession. he pulled her closer, letting harley wrap her arms around his neck to play with the hair at the nape of his neck as he captured her lips into another kiss.

"i love you, too," he whispered back after they pulled away. this time it was harley's turn to beam a smile.
