harley cooper was utterly fucked.

𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒆𝒚 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅𝒏'𝒕 𝒔𝒍𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕. she'd spent too much of the night tossing and turning as she worried how this scene would go. she approached the designated set— her character's living room and had swallow her urge to throw up.

    today was the day. she was about to kiss josh and her body was not letting her forget it. she woke with her stomach twisting in nervousness, her heart has not stopped racing and god, oh god did she not forget how she had to keep swallowing a thump in her throat.

    it felt like a bucket of ice cold water was just dumped on her when she noticed joshua standing near the piano and she quickly decided that she wasn't gonna do the scene but as she turned around, she bumped right into a chest, making her grumble under her breath.

    "hello to you too, sunshine," matt cornett grinned down at the grumbling girl. harley's head snapped up and gave matt her best puppy dog eyes, as she was growing close the the older boy she figured out he couldn't resist the look but she should've known today would be the only day he doesn't fall for it.

matt shook his head, grabbing harley by the shoulders and turning her around to push her towards where josh was. harley looked over her shoulder and glared at the twenty-year-old, "i hate you," she whisper-shouted, not really meaning it.

"you love me," matt argued, shaking his head as he smiled smugly at the sixteen-year-old.

    "hate you!" she called back, forgetting her nerves as she bantered with matt while walking to the piano.

    matt smirked, "love me!"

    harley giggled to herself and joshua's heart melted at the sound. he loved her laugh, though it abruptly stopped when he looked up from his script and the two made eye contact. suddenly both of their nerves were back and they felt like they could both throw up.

    "okay, places! josh, i need you and harley sitting at the piano," both teens followed their producer's instructions before he shouted, "and. . . action!"

✧∘* ೃ ⋆｡˚.

    harley and josh had just finished singing the reprise of what i've been looking for and both of their faces were inches apart as they stared at each other breathlessly.

"fuck it," josh whispered as scripted before crashing his lips onto harley's. he could taste her strawberry chapstick as their lips moved together slowly.

both of their hearts were racing as their stomach's had an entire zoo running wild in them, josh's hand moved to her neck, resting it in her chocolate brown locks. it wasn't either of their firsts kiss but this kiss made the rest of them irrelevant.

they pulled away in a slight daze, just staring at one another and the only thing running through harley's head was that her worries were right.

and the fact that she, harley cooper was utterly fucked.
