Her heart fluttered at the sight of the purple post-it, and the smile that carved her lips was radiant.

"Hey, cu-tea!
Sit down & relax! Enjoy your bubble tea and something sweet.

- Tae"

She placed the post-it on top of the several other notes she received from Taehyung within the past few days. Digging through the plastic bag, she pulled out a honeydew bubble tea and a straw. She looked threw the bag, but it was empty. What was the something sweet?

A knock caught her attention, her head darting to the figure leaning against the door frame of her office.

His presence filled up the room, stopping her heart at the sight of the heavenly smile that painted his face.

"Taehyung," she smiled, her aura glowing beneath the moonlight as stardust twinkled around her like a heavenly cloud.

He strolled in, placing a plastic bag on top of her desk before walking around to where she was. "Hi," he breathed her in when he was close enough to smell the her delicate scent that lingered across her rosy, smooth skin.

She laughed softly, pulling him into a hug because she had gone too long without his touch. Laced into her response was her yearning for a love that seemed unobtainable, yet so alluring. But he made it so easy to give into such temptation. Curse the sweetness that oozes from his sultry voice, his auburn eyes that trap hers and make her believe that he actually cared for her.

He was a glorious sinner, and she was a pure angel in the clouds.

But she neglects this.

Suppressing her feelings won't help anymore, but she does it anyways because she prefers not to scare him. Not to lose him.

"What's the something sweet?" She asked, clearing her mind of the thoughts that send her to tears on some nights.

Taehyung laughs, creating some distance as he follows her to the couch in her office. "Me."

Coco laughs. He is so sweet. She's stuck to him like a bee, drowning in his nectar.

She takes the straw between her lips, taking a sip of the drink.

"You shouldn't have come," Coco licks her lips. "Someone could have recognized you."

Taehyung shakes his head. "It's almost one in the morning. The only person here is you."

Coco rolled her eyes, sinking into the leather couch as she let out a tired sigh. Her eyes fluttered shut, resting her head on the back rest.

"We finished just in time for the meeting, luckily."

Taehyung rested his palm on her head, his thumb stroking the bridge of her nose endearingly. He smiled at her, and just the peacefulness of her made him want to conquer the world for her.

"I'll take you home. Get some rest for the meeting tomorrow," Taehyung's voice lulled her, her body becoming weak under tiredness and stress that she felt she could fall asleep on the couch right there.

Coco shook her head, fluttering her eyes open and immediately finding Taehyung's. She nuzzled her head deeper into his hand, loving the comfort it brought. "I drove."

"I'll drive you in the morning," Taehyung insisted and Coco snorted a laugh, regaining enough energy to get up from the couch to gather her belongings.

"You have a tight schedule tomorrow. It's the first day of your world tour," Coco claimed with excitement in her tone as her inner army was peeking out.

Strapping her bag on her shoulder, she tilted her head to the direction of the exit, mumbling a soft 'come on' as she walked out with him behind her.

"I have time."

Coco managed to change the subject along their journey to the parking garage, asking about what they had planned for the tour, but Taehyung was good at keeping secrets.

She knew this well.

"Come on," Taehyung caught her off guard when he laced his fingers with hers, dragging her to his car. She obliged, swimming a pool of bliss at the kind gesture when he opened the car door for her and closed it when she strapped on her seatbelt.

Finally in the car, he let her control the sound system. It brought him joy when the first song she picked was an older bts song. The joy that beamed from her glowing skin when she stared at him curiously made him blush. Taehyung realized the playful gleam in her eyes as she dazzled at his lips, knowing she wanted to hear him sing along.

And he did.

It was like her own private concert. Her music taste was all over the place, similar to Namjoon's taste in music

The ride was joyous, but there bliss was short lived when a small chime echoed the car. The pad in his car revealed a text message Taehyung received. Unconsciously, Coco's gaze fell on the text on the screen, reading the name of someone familiar.

Kali. And paired with her name was a red heart.

Her gaze lingered on her name alone that she didn't read the text before Taehyung cleared the screen.

It was somewhat silent as their voices hushed and they let the music distract them.

"Uh, how long is your meeting?" Taehyung asked, pulling into the private community. He pulled out his key card, swiping it across the touch pad for entrance.

"About two hours."

"When will you be out?" The polished gates opened, allowing him in. The community was asleep, but she was wide awake now.

"Around one."

Her responses were short, not putting too much attention to what he was saying because of a thought that bounced around her mind, occupying all of her attention.

Before she knew it, they were parked in the communal garage. He helped her out, but she retracted her hand away from his the second she regained balance.

Taehyung didn't let the way she shut him out go unnoticed. He knew it was from the text because he too was thinking about it. It was eating him on the inside, he wanted to read what she had to say. It had been a while since they spoke.

It wasn't easy.

"So, I'll see you tomorrow. Meet you at seven?" He asked, stuffing his hands in the pockets of his jeans where he felt his phone. It vibrated again, making his eyes bulge.

"Yeah," Coco nodded, her back turned to him as she unlocked her door. "Good night, Taehyung."

He mumbled a soft good night, guilt gnawing at his heart but it dissipated as quickly as snow under a burning sun the second she closed her door on him.

Taehyung sprinted home, unlocking his phone in the process to read her text.

Kali
You know it hurts me too, right?

Kali
Not being with you, I mean

Taehyung
you'd be with me.
you'd fight to be with me.

Kali
good luck tomorrow
