In my artwork, "untitled" the first thing you will you'll notice is that it's full if circles, and curvy lines. You will see it has purple, blue and red. I used a pencil to draft it, then I used water color paint to add color. At the end I traced over it with a black sharpie marker. In order to make this I needed to know how to draw basic shapes, folding skills, what a pattern is, and how to paint. I think it would have looked better if we hadn't used water color because it wouldn't have been so messy.
I got to choose the color and the shapes I put in it. The tone is innocent but the mood is happy. The inspiration is a mandola, and I choose the colors based off the characters from a musical called Be More Chill. My areas of success are my shape portions. The places I struggled with was to keep up with what shape I was painting. This resulted in me miss coloring shapes. Over all it looks ok. I learned from this experience that you should focus on what your doing.
