"Welcome home, Susie!"
It has been a few hours since the three got home, and it was time for everyone to sleep. Susie and Kris went up to the room.
"So. Azzy's comin' home the day after tomorrow, eh?" Susie snickered as she lay on the bed and stared at the ceiling.
"Yep! I'm excited!" Kris responded.
"Me, too! Now, instead of being an only child, I'll have two brothers, I guess!"
"Yeah! I guess so! But... What are we going to do with the bed situation?" The human motioned to where she was, making her confused. She then realised what he meant...
"So, this was Azzy's side?"
"Yep!"
"Then... I'm not sure! Let's ask Toriel tomorrow, 'kay?"
"Alright." With that, they were asleep.
The next morning...
Kris woke up and looked over at his new sister. She was still asleep, but stirred awake soon enough.
"Kris?" She groaned.
"Uh-huh?" He responded.
"I don't feel too good..." She sighed, looking over at the boy.
"You don't sound too good either!"
Kris made his way over to her, "How exactly do you feel?"
"Like most days, only worse..."
"What do you mean?"
"I think its because of the 'incident' from, like, two weeks ago?"
"So, not a sick feeling?"
"Nah."
"That's, uh, good to hear, I guess!"
"Yeah, let's just go." She got up and Kris backed away a little. She found her balance, and the kids went downstairs.
"Still doin' okay?" He asked.
"Mmm, better." She responded. Toriel was already awake and making breakfast, because it was only 8 am.
"Good morning, children!"
"Mornin', mom." Kris said.
Susie was silent, but then said, "Can- can I call you mom?"
"Of course, child!" Toriel cheerily exclaimed, looking back at her new daughter with a smile.
"Thanks, mom!" The girl laughed.
Kris and Susie sat down on the couch, her pain easing and Kris asking,
"You doin' better?"
"Yeah, thanks."
Toriel came and sat with the two, bringing over what they assumed that she was making as they came down; pie! She gave them each a plate, and they thanked her. Everyone had their pie, washing the dishes when they finished.
"Oh, wait! Just remembered something!" Susie said, about to walk upstairs but turning to look at Toriel, "When Azzy comes home tomorrow, what are we gonna do about the sleep situation?"
Toriel went to face her, "I'm... Not quite sure, actually. Good question! If you are a permanent part of the family now, maybe we should make you a room?" She suggested.
"Really?"
"Yes! You can have your own space, it would be fun!"
(Me: is cringing and totally not thinking about fuller house right now.
Also me: has no idea where this story is going!!! Lol!!!)
"Heh, sure, I guess!" She responds.
"We can get started whenever!"
"Wait. How come I have to share a room with Asriel, then?" Kris asked, jokingly.
"Because you haven't complained! I'd gladly get you your own, if you wanted." Toriel smirked.
"Just kidding, mom!" He chuckled.
At around 7, they had gotten a bed into a spare room at the house. It had no use, atleast not until now! This was her room, way nicer than her last one!
"Maybe later or something I'll go get some stuff from my old house! I think that I mighta forgotten some stuff." Susie suggested.
"Possibly tomorrow, dear! Now, it's time for dinner. I'll go make it!" Toriel went downstairs, leaving Kris and Susie awkwardly standing there.
"Okay... Kris, come here!" She called after an awkward silence, arms out wide and waiting for him to come to her. When he did, she grabbed him and started ruffling his hair with her fist.
"Ah! Please don't noogie the human!" He laughed, trying to get out of her grip, playfully.
"Heh! You really remind me of Papyrus, now!" She giggled, letting go finally, but leaving the boy's hair a mess.
"Let's get downstairs!" He said as he tried to comb through his hair with his fingers.
They went downstairs and ate their dinner (I'm too lazy to think of what they had!) Everyone was talking about what would happen the next day, with Asriel coming back, everything that would happen because of that! It would change alot in their lives, most for the better.
Soon enough, it was time for bed. Susie went to her room while Kris went to his. It was lonely, and a huge change, but they would get used to it.
"Sure wish Susie was here..." Kris said to himself as he slept, though still happy.
"Sure wish Kris was here..." Susie whispered, doing the same as Kris. They weren't used to being alone, atleast, not since Susie moved in. Wonder how Azzy'll like having a little sister... The thought stuck in everyone's mind, we never told him, did we? They all decided to themselves that they'd just have to wait until the next day to find out...
Sorry for the somewhat short chapter! If you're excited to see what's going to happen with Asriel, comment! Also, I'll start my new update schedule on January the 6th, the first day back for my school after winter break! Lol, bye!
