Chapter 25: Return Pt. 2

The new siblings made it to the fountain a few minutes after they ended their discussion.

"Uh... How exactly does this thing work?" Asriel asked.

"Heh! Like this!" His sister snickered as she leapt into the glowing fountain. Asriel stared behind her, then stepped in himself...

Back in Hometown...

Susie and her brother were in the storage closet, just realizing again what had happened.

"Ow, I forgot how rough the landings could be when I do that." She told herself aloud.

"Uh... We should probably get going now, right?" The goat asked.

"Oh, yeah! Sure, Azzy." With that, they went out and started down the sidewalks to Susie's old home.

When they arrived, the place had some police tape across it's entrance, and a few children stood by the old, run-down house.

"I've heard it's haunted!" Said a young male monster, trying to sound scary.

"No, it's not! That's silly!" Replied another, though it was a human child this time.

"Oh, really? Well, then, if it's not haunted, then why don't you go in?"

"W-why?"

"Oh, wait. Are you scared?" The monster mocked.

"No! I'm just- Wait, look! Those two are going inside...!" He stared in the direction of Asriel and Susie as they stepped towards the house.

"They really think it's haunted?" Susie smirked, laughing a little.

"Yeah, I guess so!" Asriel also laughed. The two went into the old place, the children nearby staring in awe, and slight fear for them.
