isabel watched her sister getting dragged away, by the ear, feeling the waves of pain drifting from alexis as intensely as if they were her own.
guilt settled in the pit of her stomach, but she pushed it away.
she's found her own friends now, and i've got mine.
that's nothing to be feeling guilty about.
"do you think kelly will be okay?" she asked one of kelly's other friends.
the girl shrugged. "she has enough money to bribe her way out of the situation. her parents are... well off."
sure adds up.
kelly's gang were stood around the playground awkwardly. they seemed unsure what to do with themselves without kelly around to lead them.
isabel watched alexis being taken away back to the school building,
and found herself wishing she had just stuck with her sister.
