Luke
"The doctor said he'll be out in a few days." Ashton said pulling up to my drive way. Yes my real drive way.

"So Luke fucking Hemmings." Calum said from the back seat.

"Yeah." I said.
~
"Why did you not want to tell anyone about this?" Calum asked with enthusiasm ringing in his voice.
~
"My whole life I've had people pretend to be my friends because of what I had." I said quietly, making things a tad bit awkward.
~
"I didn't want that to happen again." I said before things got quiet for a short while.
~
"Let's all go inside then," I said sending a quick 'feel better babe' text to Michael before opening the car door.
~
We all walked into the house, I opened both the double French doors both at the same time making our entrance look as dramatic as I possibly could because why not? I mean might as well impress a few people.
~
"Mother I'm home and brought over some friends!" I called out hearing the echo of my voice travel throughout the house.
~
"I have a lot of things to explain to you two actually." I said walking them up the stairs.
~
"Yeah no shit." Calum laughed.
~
"You're house is bigger than my entire existence mate." Ashton said giggling as he plopped down on my bed.
~
"YOU HAVE A GIANT BEANIE BAG CHAIR YES!" Calum shouted as threw himself on the bag.
~
"So, Luke, Lucas?" Calum asked.
~
"No just Luke." I answered.
~
"Lucas, why did you do all of this?" He asked messing with my guitar next to him.
~
"I wanted to get away, I wanted to be normal for once." I answered looking over to see what their reactions were going to be.
~
Ashton looked calm. He was silent but calm. Calum was busy distracting himself by every shiny object in my room.
~
"It's not like I planned out who I was going to be friends with or what classes I was going to take," I said breaking the short period of silence.
~
"And it's not like I was trying to tell everyone who I was. I'm just a shy person." I continued.
~
"But I'm still me. You guys and Michael, you know me for me."
~
"I think I get where you're coming from, but I just don't understand why it took you so long to tell us." Ashton said in what to me sounded like the nicest possible way.
~
"I, I- well." I stopped talking trying to figure out how to explain this properly.
~
"Trust issues?" Ashton asked.
~
"All I care about is money and the city that I'm from" Calum sang out randomly.
~
"Shut up Calum I'm not talking about the Drake kind of trust issues!" Ashton shouted throwing a pillow at him.
~
"I was just, I don't know after a while it just slipped my mind." I said.
~
"Well Luke, we like you for you and not your charming looks and personality. We like you because you're banging our bestfriend." Calum proudly said with a giant grin on his face.
~
I shifted uncomfortably on the edge of my bed.
~
"Woah look how red his face is!" Ashton pointed out causing my face turn even redder, which of course, made him giggle like he always does.

"So, you really fancy my Mikey do Ya now mate?" Calum said sitting up in his seat.
~
"Um yeah." I said smiling down at my phone.

Mikey: I will for you babe can't wait to see you <3

"You two are cute." Ashton smiled.
~
"Luke, honey!" My mother called from downstairs.
~
"Yes mother." I called back feeling the awkward setting in between the three of us.
~
"We have another guest arriving for supper, would you and your friends care to stay?" She asked from the front room.
~
I looked to Calum and Ashton waiting for a response.
~
"We have cake." I said knowing that would most likely win Calum over.
~
"I would be most delighted to be your dinner guest sir Lucas Hemmings." Calum said doing a curtsy.
~
I rolled my eyes.
~
"They said it would be most delightful, thank you." I called to my mother.
~
I looked over to Calum and Ashton.
~
"Well this should be fun." Ashton said smirking.
