(Y/N) POV

☆°~♡~°☆

I woke up in the med-jacks hut,

Or what was left of it anyway,

No one was there so I sat up and gripped my side.

I only had on my sports bra and my Jean's with my boots.

The bandage was wrapped from just beneath my bra right to my hip,

I grimaced at the memory of the griever throwing me like a rag doll.

And then I remembered Newt,

I quickly threw on a shirt and as I left the hut I saw Gally by the doors with half the other Gladers,

Then a few moments later I saw Newt and Minho approach.

I walked on shaky legs towards them,

"Hey Newt what's going on?"

Newt wrapped me in a loving hug before he said anything else,

The he leaned in close to my ear, his breath sending shivers down my spine as he whispered,

"Follow me ok?"

I gave him a puzzled look but I nodded,

He gripped my hand tightly before setting it on the hilt of his machete.

And then when I turned around I saw two boys carrying an unconscious Thomas and an awake Teresa to the two logs in the ground just in front of the doors,

"What-?"

I asked but Newt shook his head,

It was already too late,

Gally noticed me and beckoned me towards him,

I looked at Newt who gave me a worried glance but didnt say anything,

"Gally what's going on?"

"You wanna know what's going on? These two shanks are gonna be the sacrifices so the grievers will leave us alone."

I almost wanted to burst out laughing,

"You cant be serious?"

I said to him, he gave me a cold look,

"Look slinthead! That's not how it works! This is so stupid-"

"If you dont shut your mouth your gonna end up with them!"

I looked at Thomas and Teresa, then sent a hard glare at Gally.

and then I did the most stupid thing I've ever done,

I walked up to Gally... and punched him right in the gut,

"Dont be an idiot Gally! We both know this will never work!"

I could feel Newt and Minho cringe just behind me at Gally who grabbed me by the arm,

I shook him off

"Stop being a drama queen and help us get out of here! We're friends!"

He finally managed to get a grip on my arm and flung me into the dirt beside Thomas,

"No. We were friends."

He glared at me,

"Tie em, up! Leave Thomas on the floor, in the dirt where he belongs!"

The two boys that were holding down Thomas went to grab me,

Teresa already had her hands tied onto the post,
