New Girlfriend

April was playing some video games in her room. Then stopped when she heard a knock on the window. She stood up and went over to open it.

As soon as she opened the window, Donnie jumped in and shouted. "Hey April! guess what! I have a girlfriend!!!" He stated proudly.

"A WHAT?! When did this happen?! Do I know her?!" April said in shock. "Donnie I swear if you say it's Atomic Lass again, for the last time that doesn't count!"

"A girlfriend, yesterday, no, I am 85% sure it's a real girl this time and stop bringing that up." Donnie answers.

"So, who is she?" April asked.

"Purple_Topdoggg101." Donnie replied.

"That's not a real name Donnie." April said flatly.

"Oh contraire April, for you see I found her a few weeks ago on one of the most reliable but yet everybody's pitcher's there is suspiciously too good to be true. Otherwise known as 'The Purple Love'. It's the newest and greatest dating app that guarantees you'll find your soulmate." Donnie explained triumphantly.

"A dating app, really? You do realize that 10 out of every time those dates don't end well, right?" April asked rhetorically.

"Well it's not like I can just go into the cafeteria and be like. 'Hi, I'm Donnie, does anybody want to see if we're compatible?'' Donnie said sarcastically.

"Alright, alright I get it. So, what do you plan on doing now huh, lover boy." April teased.

"Go on a date with her of course. She told me to meet her at her house at 7. Which is in 5 hours and 45 minutes. So you got any dating advice?" Donnie asked.

"Well for one thing, whatever you do just make sure you don't spent the whole date just talking about yourself." April said sternly.

"But I'm so awesome." Donnie said arrogantly.

April raised a brow.

"Yeah yeah give her a chance to talk about herself, got it. So, what else you got?" Don asked expectantly.

"Uh... just be yourself I guess?" April said plainly.

"Oh come on, everybody knows that. It's the most common advice people give on T.V." Don said drily.

"Well excuse me, for trying to help." April felt insulted.

"I'm sorry April, but... please you gotta help me. I've never done this before! I mean what if when we finally meet face to 'face' it becomes so awkward that she wants to call it off. Or what if her ex comes over and challenges me to a duel. OR WHAT IF-" Donnie panicked.

"Calm down Donnie, I'm sure it won't... be that bad. If you want, I can come along and help you out from the sidelines." April suggested.

"You mean like a wingman?" Donnie asked dryly.

"Pretty much, yeah." April nodded in agreement.

"Thanks April!" Don smiled in appreciation. "Oh I know, we could use these earpieces to communicate with each other." Don handed April one of his earpiece.

"How long were you holding onto these?" April question.

"When you live with three crazy brothers, it's a necessity to be prepared for anything." Donatello said plainly.

"Pfft, I see your point." April stifled a laugh.

Time skip to a neighborhood:

Donnie was walking down the street with his jacket on, to look like a regular human. "Testing testing one two three can you hear me." Don asked through the earpiece even though April was walking right next to him.

"Loud and clear. For like, the 12th time." April said with an eye roll. "If you keep asking someone is going to notice." She said with irritation.

"Sorry, I'm just really excited! And if I'm being honest, a little nervous too." Don admitted.

"A little?" April said sarcastically. "Well, I'll be in that bush if you need me." April headed towards said bush.

"Thanks again April." Donnie said then approached the front door. "*phew* Here goes nothing." He knocks on the door.

Then the door opened to reveal a girl with red hair and glasses. "Oh hey, you must be Bootyyy_shaker9000." She said.

"Yep. That's me. Just your everyday totally ordinary and 100% real human boy." Donnie said nervously.

Earpiece: *Facepalm* "Donnie, stop stating the 'obvious'. No one talks like that." April said sternly.

"Haha, your funnier in real life. Ready to watch some movies." Purple_Topdoggg101 gesture Donnie to come in.

"Movies at home, seriously? That's not a date. That's just two buds hanging out." April thought.
