~part 19~

"Good." He said smiling. He stared into your eyes then shook his head to get out of the trance, and turned back to his computer.

"Okay let me find my house in Hawaii." He said going through a map.

"Your Dad might find us in Hawaii if you have a house there." You said concerned.

"He doesn't know about it. Nobody does. Only you and me."

"I like that. But how does that even work?"

"Oh well, You know that Hawaii is more than one Island right?"

"Right."

"Yeah, well it has one more island that's not recorded on the globe because it's very small. Like maybe my house times 5."

"That's pretty big."

"Yeah well not compared to the others." You rolled your eyes playfully.

"Anyways- I bought the island and only you, me, and the guy I bought it from knows it existed"

"That's insane!"

"I know! Well, I mean a few other people who sail out there and see it know it's there, but my Dad doesn't know."

"Its perfect." You smiled and wrapped your arms around him. He hugged you tightly and you felt like if you stayed in that moment forever you would feel satisfied. But it ended, sadly.

"You should go home and pack." Tom told you while grabbing a few things from the room.

"How long are we gonna be there?" You asked.

"Hm. I don't know." He answered. "For as long as we feel is right." You smiled and practicality skipped out of his house. You stole one of his cars and drove to your apartment. The one that looked so bland and messy compared to Toms. You went around and pack hygene products, clothes, a charger, make up, and a few pictures of your Mom, and the people at the bar. But you didn't feel like anything else was needed.
Just then the lights flickered out, but it was still light outside so you could see.

"Crap." You said to yourself, "forgot to pay the bills." So you got right to it.

"Y/n doesn't know about Tom." Haz said to Dom over the phone. "She might leave him if she knew."

"I doubt it." Dom said grumpily, "She really likes that boy."

"Yeah but the last girl left him when she found out." Haz said.

"She won't do it!" Dom said.

"Let me try." Haz begged.

"Fine. But you don't tell Tom that I allowed you to tell her. If he gets mad, he gets mad at you."

"... fine."

After you were done packing, the light from outside was gone and you were tired.
You stretched after finally being able to shove the clothes in the suitcase. It was only one, because you didn't have too much stuff. It only took so long because you procrastinated. It would have been pitch black in the apartment but the city lights spill in through the windows and gave it a soft glow. You felt your phone buzz in your back pocket and saw that Tom was calling you.

"Aye." You said.

"Hey, so I was wondering if you wanted to leave tomorrow or the day after?" He asked.

"Hm, I'm not sure. What time are the flights to Hawaii."

"What?" He sounded generally confused but then started to laugh, "oh- Y/n." He scoffed.
