Belle and Mattia didn't plan to skip school together but both of them were just not feeling well to go in today, especially with what happened last night at Evelyn's house.
Belle just couldn't look at anyone's face without feeling guilty even though she had no reason to feel like that. It's this feeling that she did something wrong and she doesn't know how to recover from that.
Mattia had texted Belle asking her if she wanted to come over and as much she wanted to decline, she knew that if she were to decline, both of them would be in an awkward position so she said yes and walked straight to his house.
They didn't do much at his house besides them watching Tangled for the hundredth time, her watching him play Fifa and her scrolling through her TikTok and Instagram. They sat in a comfortable silence.
