Belle arrives at Alejandro's house faster than she had expected. She made a promise to herself; she is not leaving his house until she has gotten answers for everything she needs. She opens the door to his house and enters through the kitchen. His mum is eating a bowl of salad on the table and his dog is tailing her feet. She smiles at the sight of Miguel.
"Hey buddy," she coos over the dog, patting it's head softly.
"Belle. Ale is in his room," Alejandro's mum tells her, waving her hand towards where his room is situated, even though she knows that Belle knows where his room is.
Belle gives his mum a kiss on the cheek before heading in the direction of his room. She enters his room without knocking to see him making a TikTok video by the window. When he sees her, he comes running, picks her up and engulfs her in a tight hug. She buries her face into his neck, hugging him back just as tightly.
"How come you're here? Not that I mind, mi amore," he smiles, catching her lips in a gentle kiss.
They kiss but these gentle ones, the ones that Alejandro gives her without warning, makes her feel something else. Makes her feel safe. They catch her breath every time, making her unable to breath for a few seconds.
