TWO: DAY W/ THE PRINCESS

LENA'S POV

The morning shines, Kara is still peacefully sleeping and I enjoyed watching her sleep. She sleeps like a princess. So peaceful and quiet. I stayed on her side since last night. She's been through a lot. She needs someone to stay on her side. I saw something on her face so I moved closer to wipe it out, but when I touched her, her eyelids moved and her eyes slowly opens. Our eyes met again, her ocean blue eyes makes me softer. I stared in her eyes, frozen. I don't know why but suddenly, I can't move

"Good morning" she smiled.

"H-hey" I looked away to avoid eye contact to her. What is this feeling?

"Oh shit! I need to go to work!" She said. She quickly jumped out of her bed and ran into her bathroom. So cute

"Oh wait" she came back from her bathroom "It's sunday. It's my day-off" she sighed. She turned around and pushed her back on the bed

"Why are you so quiet?" She reached my hand and then again, I froze

"I... I just--"

"You know, I wanted you to stay with me but if you wanna go home... You can" she looked down

"No... I can stay" I said. She looked up to me and smiled so widely

"So, do you eat sandwich? Or just fresh blood for breakfast?" she sat up next to me

"Usually, fresh blood. But... I think I should try different foods, right?" I said

"I'll take care of you. Princess" she giggled and so did I.

I let Kara give me whatever she wanted to give me. She gave me a breakfast burrito to eat. I have never eat something like this before. But I guess, I should try one. I stared at it for a moment. It looks kinda weird for me

"Just try it. It taste good" Kara said and I nod

I took a small bite to test the taste and Kara wasn't wrong. It is delicious. "Not bad" I smiled

"Right" She smiled.
"Look, I don't wanna really think about it but it keeps on running into my mind" she paused for a second to breathe "Vampires are freaking real. And I'm eating breakfast with the Princess" she said

"Will you believe if I said that I don't believe in humans?" I joked

"Right" she laughed "Hey, I just wanna ask, why are you so nice to me?"

And then it got me thinking. Why am I so nice to her? I don't even know.....

"I think it because, I'm not like the rest of our kind. They hate human, I don't. They are afraid of human, I'm not" I said. Then she became so much interested

"Vampires are afraid of human? How come? You guys are vampires. And, we're just.... Humans. No fangs, no special sense, can't fly, we can't run faster than you can. Not special. Just.. Humans" she srugged.

"Humans can kill us easily. By silvers. Pure silvers are our kryptonite. Same as the werewolves. It is not fire, but it can burn us to death. And earth has a lot of silvers around so yeah, you guys are much powerful that we are" I explained

"Werewolves are real as well?" She asked

"As well as vampires, yeah" I nod

Then, out of nowhere someone enters her room. Two guys. The boys that is with her yesterday at the shop.

"Oh my God, James, Winn. You scared tha crap of me" Kara said still in shock, Well... I heard them coming so I wasn't really shocked. That's it. James and Winn. They both stared at me like they've seen their idols

"Guys, this is Pri--- uh, Lena. My... My friend" Kara struggled to introduce me. She doesn't know how to introduce me at all and I laughed. I understand, it will be hard to introduce a human friend to my vampire friends as well

"Lena. From Metropolis" I said.

"I'm James. Also from Metropolis" The black guy introduced

"I'm Winn. From here. National City" The white guy said.

Well, I think I'm gonna have a new friends. They seem so nice and funny. I see why Kara loves them both already.

KARA'S POV

It's already 3 in the afternoon. James, Winn and Lena are at the living room, watching movies, chitchatting and laughing. While I'm here at the kitchen, trying to reach Mike. He haven't called me yet or texted me. *sigh* I wonder why...

After few hours, it is finally time for Winn and James to get home. I lead them the way out

"Thanks for coming" I said and smiled

"Always welcome" James said

"Hey, Lena, do you mind hanging out with us soon?" Winn asked

"Sounds good" Lena smiled.

We said our goodbyes to James and Winn and they finally go. Now, Lena and I are alone. Again. I don't know why and I don't understand why, but I like spending time alone with Lena.

"So, what do you want for dinner?" I asked

"I have no idea what humans eat for dinner so... Just prepare what you want me to try" she shrugged

I went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. I decided to make her try fried chicken. It is my favorite though...

I'm finally preparing the recipes I need to cook dinner when someone hugged me from my back. Soon, I felt her body on my back and I kinda love it. I love the feeling of her body agaisnt mine

"Have ever someone told you how beaitiful you are?" She whispered in my ears and I shiver

"L-Lena" is the only word I can manage to say. She moved my body and made me face her.

Our eyes met. She leaned closer to me so that I could feel her warm breathe. I stared into her eyes and somehow, I wanted to kiss her. I wanted to feel her lips touching mine. Then I looked into her eyes again, it is focused on my lips. I don't know what I'm doing but... I did the first move. I reached in to her lips and kissed her closely. She kissed back and grabbed my back. Soon, our soft kisses turns into a passionate kiss and that time, I suddenly realized what I'am doing. I pushed her away and I turned around.

What the fuck am I doing?! I kissed her! I did! How? What happened to me?! Wait, Mike... How 'bout Mike?! He's holding to the plan that he will take my first kiss on our wedding day, and now he can't.... My first kiss was already taken away... No. I gave it away...

"I'm... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. I'm very sorry" I heard she said

"No. It's my fault. Sorry" I said

"If you want me to go... I will"

"What? No. Don't" I turned around to face her again. I don't want her to go... I want her to stay. By my side

"I.. I want you to stay" I said.

She smiled and moved closer to me.
"Alright" she held my hand

Sorry Mike... Sorry...
I don't know... But, there is a part of me that likes to kiss her more but I controlled myself. I have a boyfriend. And I love him. One mistake is enough. I shouldn't cheat on him. So Kara, control yourself. Stop doing stupid things.
