"I know. So there was this guy, Josh, that I had a crush on in 3rd grade. It was all good cause we went at different schools from 5th grade. Then when we were 9th grade we started to walk to the bus station together most of the time cause his new school was pretty close to mine so we'd take the same bus. He had a girlfriend and I knew it but when we'd come back from school he kept flirting with me but the next he'd be a total jerk. We weren't walking alone. There were also his sister and 2 of my "friends" . Once we were walking and he kept touching my hand and then when we were next to my house he pinned me to the wall and tried to kiss me"

"Woah woah woah he tried to kiss you?" Ruel interrupted me

"yeah but I pushed him back but one of my friends filmed the thing but not the part where I pushed him back off me and she sent it to his girlfriend on snapchat with the description "such a cute couple" so she got mad and broke up with him."

"Good cause that's what he deserves "

"Yeah but the next morning I avoided him but in the afternoon he just dragged me by the hair and started yelling at me for apparently destroying his relationship then started punching me but luckily there were people around who stopped him before he could get me in the hospital. So then I got scared and done everything possible to avoid boys, so no I didn't have a boyfriend." I said sobbing

I felt a warm arm on my back slowly pulling me into a hug, a few seconds later i ended up crying into his chest.

"Don't cry, it's gonna be fine. I promise you no one is gonna hurt you ever again" Ruel says pulling me into a tighter hug

After I stopped crying he let me go and gave me a tissue and his bottle of water to drink and calm down

"Thank you and i'm sorry that you had to see me like this" I said after I finished wiping my tears away

" See you like what?" he slowly says looking into my eyes

"Crying" I said looking down again trying to hold my tears away

He lifted my chin making me look into his eyes

"You don't need to be sorry for crying, you've been through a lot and I understand it" he said smiling

His smile was so warming, his lips were inviting me to kiss them but I knew he wasn't feeling the same, in his eyes I was just a friend.

*Ruel's pov *

I wanted to kiss her so badly but she has a lot going on and I don't wanna rush things, I don't think she realizes that she's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen and, believe, me I saw a lot of girls. After a few minutes of staying in silence in the car in front of her house I broke the silence.

"I think I should go home now."

"Yeah me too... but can I get your phone number?"

"Yeah sure"

I gave her my number

"Text me later maybe" I said smiling at her

"That's for sure"

*Y/n's pov*

I walk in the living room and saw my brother watching a movie

"How was your date?"he says smirking

"Shut the fuck up. It wasn't even a date(wasn't it tho) we just got food"

"Sounds like a date to me "

" just leave it" I said walking away

I got changed and jumped into the bed and take my phone and texted Ruel

I smiled at my phone as I put it away and started watching "You"
