"Fine. After all the things that happened y/n, she met a guy, William, he and his family were our new neighbors. They started talking more and more and after a month they were a couple, or well, that's what we all thought..."

"He cheated on her after 2 weeks... with her best friend Sarah"

"Yeah but the thing is that" I stopped

"Ellio?"

"After that we went to the park and somehow there was William, making out with other girl. As soon as he saw her he pushed the girl of him and walked to us. They had a horrible fight and when we walked away he yelled 'I LIKE YOU' and... well... you 2 look very...similar "

"What did I do?" he said as he placed his head in his hands

*Ruel's pov*

She has trust issues. Because of a guy...that looked... like me. I was really confused too. I was not William, I would never hurt her. But maybe it was the best for both of us....

After a week

School starts in less than a week. Y/n was avoiding me. Every time I tried to call her, to text her or even go visit Ellio hopping to see her was useless. The week without her passed very slow. All the free time that I used to spend with her... now I was just sitting on the couch all day, doing absolutely nothing but crying. I also wrote a few lyrics, went to the studio a few times but couldn't concentrate at all so I ended up being asked to go home get some sleep every time. I wrote a song for y/n from the lyrics . It was quite good so I recorded myself singing it while playing guitar and it ended up pretty nice, I even added a message for her at the end. I got the CD and headed to her house and gave it to Ellio.

"so I should give her this without to tell her anything but to listen to it till the end" Ellio said confused

"Exactly"

"Okay then see you soon I guess"

" Yep see ya"I said and walked back to my house

*Y/n's pov*

I was laying in my bed.

Crying.

As always.

My happy thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Come in"

I saw Ellio entering my room with a CD on his finger. He throws it at me.

"Listen to it till the end you depressed shit. No matter what." He says as he left my room

"Fine. No need to be rude" I mumbled

I took my laptop and played the CD. It was a song.

Eyes are shut, sleep too much

Then it hit me... The guy who was singing the painkiller song. It was him. And then i remembered his name

„Ruel"i said sobbing

It was him. All of this time. That's why he stopped the radio. It was really him. He wrote this song for me.

„What did i do? I need to find him"i said with regret

I run downstairs and yelled „I'm going to Ruel's"and run outside without waiting for an answear.

I knocked on the door and Coco opened it

"Where is Ruel?" i asked

"He is not home"

"Do you know where did he go"

"He said something about where it all ended"

I know exactly where he is. Or at least i hope i do.

"Thank you Coco"

"No problem. see you around"

"You too"

I rushed down the street to the beach. Where he told me he liked me, where i left him, where i broke his heart into tiny little pieces, Where it all ended.

Hello people,

Sorry for not updating yesterday but life hasn't been easy lately as i failed an english exam but hey today is Harry Styles's bday so we aren't allowed to be sad. Also this is not the best capture from the story but i couldn't do more than that atm . The next update will be posted in 2-3 days. Don't forget to vote it please.
