Eight

*Y/n's pov*

We arrived at the beach and started surfing. It felt good to be home again. I missed everything: the beach, the waves, the city and the people. My thoughts were interrupted by Ellio.

"Someone is looking for you" he said as he pointed at a tall blonde guy who was waving at us like crazy

"Ruel" I said as tears begun to form

"Yep"

"Just ignore him. He'll eventually leave"

After an hour he was still there. It was getting cloudy and the wind started to blow really fast so we decided to get out of the water.

"Do you want me to talk to him? " Ellio said clearly seeing the worry in my eyes

"No. I can handle it. Just take our stuff and go home before the rain to start. Don't worry about me" I said faking a smile

"Let me take your board. My friend Oliver and his girlfriend Sunday are here too and they said they'll drive me back home"

"okay" I said as I hand him my surf board

"Do you want us to wait for you?"

"Actually...yeah. It won't take only a second. Go now" I said as I saw Ruel running our way

As soon as he left Ruel arrived in front of me and run a hand through his hair.

*Ruel's pov*

"Let me explain"I said

"You don't need to explain yourself. You have a girlfriend"she said clearly frustrated

"SHE IS NOT MY GIRLFRIEND" I screamed as she started walking away

"I DON'T CARE" she turned around with tears in her eyes. She was clearly hurt and seeing her in tears made me sad and I felt tears forming in my eyes

"THEN WHY ARE YOU CRYING"

"I HAVE REASONS. WHY DO YOU EVEN CARE? DON'T YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND?!?!" she yelled trying to hold her tears in but didn't succeeded

"YOU REALLY AREN'T LISTENING"

"I AM"

"I LIKE YOU" I screamed as I feel a tear scroll down my check

"NO YOU DON'T. STOP LYING TO ME" then she turns around and starts walking as fast as she could then started running

"DON'T LEAVE ME PLEASE"I cried falling down my knees in the cold sand

I felt the cold rain mixing with my warm tears. I couldn't get up. I felt a hand on my back

"Ruel"

*y/n's pov*

I run as fast as I could. It started to rain. My vision was blurry from the tears. I got in the car crying my eyes out.

"You said you'll be fine" Ellio said as he got in the back of the car and hugged me

"I-I... am" I said sobbing into his arms

"No you're clearly not."

We drove home

" Sunday can you guys take her inside while I take care of something"

"Sure. You can count on us" Sunday said as Ellio got out of the car

*Ellio's pov*

I walk to Ruel's house and knocked on the door. Coco opened the door

" oh hey Ellio"

" hey. Is Ruel home?"

" Well I was hoping that you know where he is"

I waited for a few seconds then answered

"I actually think I know. Thank you Coco "I said as I turned around

"Do you want me to come or?"

"No but you might wanna go see y/n"

"Did something happen?"

"Yes"

"What??"

"Your brother" I almost yelled as I was already on the street

*Coco's pov*

"oh shit" I mumbled to myself

"MOM I'M GOING TO Y/N'S"I yelled as I grab a jacket

"okay honey. Have fun"

I walked to her house and knocked on the door. The door was opened by Sunday. One of Ruel's best friends.

"Come in"she said

I entered the house and we got to her room. Oliver was there, speaking with her quietly as hugging her from the side. When she looked up I saw her red and puffy eyes filled with tears.

"Oh why are you crying y/n"

And she started crying even more. I sat next to her and hugged her

" we are gonna leave you 2 talk for a bit. We will be in the kitchen if you need anything" Sunday said as she and Oliver left the room

She told me what happened and that she had terrible trust issues and after what that guy did to her...

*Ellio's pov*

I ran to the beach and found Ruel in his knees.

Crying

Crying like the world was ending

"Ruel"I said as I placed my hand on his back

He looked at me but started crying even more. His eyes were red, he looked horrible.

"Please leave me alone."

"Come on you can't sit here all day. Its raining"

He finally accepted to get up and we walked to his house in silence.

" You know I really like your sister. And I know it sounds really weird but from the moment I saw her I just... her face, her eyes, her smile" he broke the silence clearly still sobbing

"Okay Ruel I got that but I am not quite the right person to tell all these. You should tell her. Did she tell you about Jake?" I pronounced the last word as quiet as I could

"Yeah but why?"

"The whole story?" I asked as I sit next to him on the bed

"Yeah I think so. She told me as he almost got her in the hospital"

"Yeah thought so"

" is it something wrong?"

"No but that's not the whole story" I said looking into his still in tears eyes

"Then tell me. Please Ellio. I'll do anything just please tell me" he said as he started crying again

"Fine"
