Hayls 💋:
Charlotte Angel Hayes
When were you going to tell me you spent Christmas with Chris??

Zoe 👽:
Your middle name is Angel? Cute

Charls 👀:
Yes, it is, but that's kind of irrelevant right now
How do you even know about that, Hayls? 😳

Lizzie 🔮:
Tea is about to be spilled

Scar 💄:
I am judging you so hard right now, Lizzie

Hayls 💋:
Instagram.

Gwen 👩🏻‍🦰:
All kinds of new information is coming out today

Charls 👀:
That still technically doesn't answer my question since I never tagged him

Scar 💄:
Oh, honey, no
He tagged you on a Christmas post on his own account

Charls 👀:
He did??

Zoe 👽:
You didn't know?

Lizzie 🔮:
Don't you check your mentions? 😜

Charls 👀:
Not so much recently 🤷‍♀️
Since Chris has been tagging me more because we're spending time together while he has the time, his fans have been tagging me in comments a lot

Hayls 💋:
Now that we've established that you not seeing the post is your fault, can we get back to my original question?

Scar 💄:
Thought you said that you two were just friends?
Spending Christmas together is a little more than friendly, if you ask me

Charls 👀:
We ARE just friends
I spent Christmas with them because my parents are in the UK with relatives. I couldn't go because of the hours I'm working so I resolved to spend Christmas alone, which Chris wouldn't allow.
I've spent Christmases with them before when we were younger, so it's not like it's a new thing

Lizzie 🔮:
Out of curiosity, and I know it's completely off topic, where do you work?

Charls 👀:
At a military health facility.
Specifically, in the department that deals with mental health and PTSD in soldiers and veterans, alike.

Scar 💄:
Wow...

Zoe 👽:
Definitely not the kind of job I had in mind

Gwen 👩🏻‍🦰:
I knew about your dog being a service dog, but I didn't pin you as someone who works in that field
It's really impressive though

Hayls 💋:
Your job is honestly fascinating to me
You have the condition but work every day with people who have it as well to find them a way to get through their day without triggers
That can't be easy

Charls 👀:
It's not but I enjoy it
It helps me with my own PTSD
Keeps me grounded in the present and away from reliving my own time in the military

Lizzie 🔮:
Have you worked there since your tour overseas ended?

Charls 👀:
No, I wasn't in a good place for a while when I got back
They're the ones that helped me find some sense of stability and were really supportive of me training to do what they do

Zoe 👽:
I love that

Scar 💄:
I have so much respect for you right now

Lizzie 🔮:
Isn't working with people with the same condition as you triggering?

Charls 👀:
It can be
I primarily work with those that have similar triggers since I have more experience avoiding them, but I have worked with a lot of people - in one-on-one sessions and group sessions too - so I feel like I've got enough experience with other triggers and symptoms that I don't have too

Hayls 💋:
What about the service dogs and prosthetics/amputees?
Where does working with those fit into all that?
I've always wondered

Charls 👀:
Amputees are commonly affected by mental health disorders, about both the circumstances of their injuries and their time spent overseas serving
They're voluntary group sessions that I work in as part of a team. All the staff involved are either amputees themselves, know someone who is, have a service dog of their own or, again,  know someone who does.
We're all trained in what we do but the sessions are mostly an outlet - to give those that come to them a place where they can meet and talk to people like them, share experiences and talk about whatever it is they want to amongst a group of people that can share and relate to what's being said

Gwen 👩🏻‍🦰:
That's actually really interesting and I love that that's a thing

Lizzie 🔮:
^ She basically stole what I was going to say

Scar 💄:
100% glad that there are people like you and the people you work with that work so hard to help soldiers returning from overseas that are struggling

Zoe 👽:
👏👏👏👏

Charls 👀:
😳😳😳😳😳😳
Can we move on from this heavy topic now?
I kind of like to leave most of my work actually at work...

Hayls 💋:
Yes, we can move on
Let's go back to the other important topic of the day

Lizzie 🔮:
Which is??

Hayls 💋:
Her and Chris, of course

Charls 👀:
I'm done
Go away
Turning off my phone
Goodbye
✌✌

Gwen 👩🏻‍🦰:
Someone clearly doesn't want to talk about that 😂

Scar 💄:
Where did you get that impression? 😂
