(So this is super late but I had this idea when I was supposed to be doing my Bio homework, so here ya go!)

"Noya, baby, what are you doing?" Asahi asked as he watched his boyfriend climbed a ladder to hang some mistletoe over their bedroom door.

They'd bought a small house the year before, when Noya was in his second year of university and Asahi had been almost finished with his third, since he had decided to go when he'd found out that it was in his best interest to find a good job. They'd been dating for a while, and when Noya found out that Asahi was trying to find a good apartment, he had chipped in and they'd ended up moving in together.

They hadn't even really talked about it, they'd just done it. They knew each other so well that they almost always knew what the other was thinking. Asahi was calm when Noya was hotheaded. Noya always knew what to say when Asahi was quieter with anxiety that got to him occasionally.

They were each other's perfect pair.

They'd heard Suga say at one point that Kageyama and Hinata were always at their best when they were together, and Asahi had always thought that it connected to him and Noya too. And they were always together. At first it had been because Noya was afraid that Asahi might skip out on the club again, but then it had become their routine.

"I'm getting ready for Christmas," he replied, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Baby, Thanksgiving was yesterday, Christmas is still like a month away," Asahi said, giving Noya a fond look. His boyfriend was always like this around this time of year, and he found it adorable.

"Yeah, but everyone is coming over for our own Christmas before they have to spend time with their parents so I want everything to be ready!" Noya whined, making Asahi smile.

Whenever the holidays came around Noya acted like a small child, he bounced around a lot more, and he was already breaking out decorations for the next holiday when the most present one was finished.

"Baby, that's not for another two weeks," Asahi pointed out.

"We have to be prepared Asahi!" Noya cried, throwing his hands up in exasperation, knocking his balance off, effectively knocking him off the ladder at the same time.

"You have to be careful Noya," Asahi scolded, catching the smaller boy in his arms easily, wondering vaguely if he should start hiding the ladders, it wouldn't have been the first time that Asahi's had to hide stuff for Noya's safety and his own.

Noya and ladders was sort of like Bokuto and sugar, (he was acting like a chicken with his head cut off) something they'd had to deal with a few months ago, something they never wanted to witness again. It was basically a formula for disasters.

"I am careful, but you know me, most of the time I'm clumsier than Hinata," Noya said, giving Asahi a large smile. It was true, when Noya was on the court, he was one of the most graceful players on their team, but off the court, he was an accident waiting to happen. Most of the bruises he had on his body were from the falls he took.

"Trust me, if anyone knows that, I do, but you still have to be careful," Asahi said, nuzzling Noya's neck. Noya giggled, wrapping his arms around Asahi's neck, breathing his boyfriend in.

Noya tried wriggling out of Asahi's arms but the older boy just tightened his grip, a small smile playing on his lips.

"Asahi, let me down! I need to finish decorating the house!" Noya whined, drawing out his words like a whiney little kid as he whined.

"Noooo," Asahi drawled, wrapping his arms tighter around the samller boy, making him laugh and wriggle. Asahi loved doing this, messing with Noya, making him smile, and making him laugh.

"Asahiiiii!" Noya cried, giving a small pout.

"I love you Noya," Asahi murmured, kissing Noya's neck lightly before he put him down, placing the smaller boy on his feet lightly.

"I love you too," Nishinoya murmured, giving a small giggle that made Asahi smile. "Want to know another perk of me decorating the house?" Noya asked after a moment.

"Hmmmm?" Asahi hummed, watching Noya's face.

"It gives us more excuses to kiss," Noya said bluntly, gesturing to the mistletoe that he had placed above their heads.

Asahi blushed, but he leaned down anyway, knowing that in two weeks, they wouldn't have many chances to be alone once people started to show up.

"You don't have to have an excuse, you just have to ask Noya."

Noya grinned, jumping to wrap his legs around Asahi's waist like a koala, something he must've learned from Hinata.

"I'll never understand how you do that," Asahi murmured, kissing down Noya's neck.

"You don't need to understand how I do it, you just have to understand what it means," Noya murmured, laying his head on his boyfriend's shoulder, breathing him in as Asahi pushed their bedroom door open.

"I know what it means," Asahi declared, shutting their door shut with his foot.

The holidays were going to be interesting this year.
