Spring was finally starting to shine through the melting snow of Manhattan. The fight about Olivia being a stay at home mom was quickly put to rest after the misunderstanding was solved. Olivia had started working in a forensic lab in a nearby hospital lab.
Dominick often worked days and Olivia nights, but they had a nanny, Lucy, on hand for emergencies and to help out with Sawyer. It took the couple a while to find someone they trusted, but the young online college student fit their lives perfectly. With two incomes now rolling in the couple found themselves building their savings and finding the money to buy a home. Sawyer was continuing to grow rapidly and was approaching the six-month mark in his life.
Dominick had taken notice that he and Olivia hadn't taken the time out of their busy schedules in a long time. Now, that Sawyer was switched mostly over to more solid foods it was easier for them to get away, but they never did.
"Olivia?" Dominick whispered one morning as Olivia came home from a lab shift.
"Yeah, " she yawned noisily moving to the bathroom.
"We need to have a date night, baby, I truly haven't seen you in months and we need to keep our relationship a priority, " Dominick spoke wrapping his arms around his wife's midsection.
"That sounds nice. I have Friday night off, I'll talk to your mom about taking Sawyer for a few hours, my parents are going to a concert that night, so hopefully, your mom's off."
Olivia took out her bun and her hair fell in long curls stopping past her shoulder blades. Dominick kissed her cheek gently before reaching behind him to turn on the shower.
"Your hair is getting long, " he spoke helping her out of her scrub top.
"Yeah, I'm debating on cutting it or continuing to grow it."
"Whatever makes you happy, " Dominick smiled, "I have to get going, I love you and I'll see you tonight."
"Sounds good, I love you too, " she yawned again.

Olivia slept until about one in the afternoon before getting up to relieve Lucy from her duties. Sawyer was in a very good mood today babbling and squealing as he crawled around. After a bath, Olivia decided to take her little guy out on the town to get some fresh air. Sawyer liked his stroller, but never truly loved it. A walk turned into a jog and it wasn't until they were pretty far out, did Olivia sense something was wrong. Her eyes caught on Lola and a boy out of school on a Wednesday in March.
"Lola Piper Marie Benson!" Olivia snapped and Lola spun on her heel coming face to face with her big sister.
"Hi Olivia, " Lola sighed knowing she was screwed.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?"
"Having a little fun, lighten up, Olivia."
"Excuse me?" Olivia questioned crossing her arms, "and who are you?"
"Lucas Wilson, ma'am, " the young boy spoke most definitely looking a lot older than Lola.
"Lucas, do you know how old my little sister is?"
"No ma'am, " he replied as Lola sighed.
"She's sixteen, and how old are you?"
"Twenty-three ma'am, " he spoke shaking in his own skin.
"Just wait until dad gets a load of this, Lola, he's my age. You're just a kid and don't need to be out here with men my age. He's seven years older than you, " Olivia sighed being extremely protective over her baby sister.
