The first week at McGonagall's house was exceedingly boring. She tried helping him with transfiguration, claiming it would give her an idea where the muggle-borns would need to start. It was a failure. Whenever he picked up his wand, any dust and grime would be banished without fail. But nothing ever happened. He chanted the words and made the movements and knew he was doing it perfectly. Nothing. He had his 'Aunt Min' hold it but she couldn't seem to get near the wand. It was his and only his, that much had been made clear. Besides the wand, he couldn't get used to sleeping in a bed. Most nights he slept in his trunk. Noir would fall asleep on top of his head and Obsidienne would coil up on his stomach below the blanket. The couch he slept on was much softer than the bed and the room smelled better anyways. He looked back fondly on when he finally saved enough money to add the apartment enchantment.

[He'd been in France for perhaps half a year. Upon learning of magic things became easier for him. He could except that his family had not wanted him. His French was still rudimentary but he knew enough to make money and buy what he needed. Fighting was rather profitable. He charged people to fight with him and if the won it was free. He hardly looked eight so people thought he was joking and went along with it. In magical France law said the winner gets twenty percent of all bets placed on them in any sort of competition. So any money that didn't go towards keeping him alive was saved for a certain charm that he happened to have gotten that day. The apartment charm added rooms to a trunk. He would got two rooms. A main room and a small bathroom. To enter his apartment he put a finger in the inside of the 'a' in Blackie. Then he would land in the main room. It had a small blue loveseat against on wall. A set of cabinets, including a cooling cabinet, was against the other. Wall number three was just black. All the others were pale green. The last wall simply had a white door. Through the door you got a bathroom. It had a shower propped in one corner, and your average sink and toilet. The home was small. It was also the first thing that Blackie could really say he felt safe in.]

The sofa was too small now but he still stayed curled in it. He felt caged in whenever he left his home. Aunt Min's house was small and dimly lit and just made his claustrophobic. It had prompted him to climb out the window and onto a nearby tree on several occasions. But the house was so... empty. He had never felt anything like it. There was no emotional tie between the professor and the house. Only one thing in the house didn't hold the feeling. A small golden picture frame with two young girls with matching braid on a pier.

McGonagall was out of the house so Hadrian finally had time to himself. He ran to his trunk and finally let Obsidienne and Noir outside. After letting them accommodate to the house, they all went out to the small front garden. That feeling of emptiness was still there but it was slowly being filled. Every day he sat on the lawn and just waited for his aunt to realize he was gone. But today his friends were with him! Obsidienne came over for a conversation.
§Someone else lives here. The one who took you to the dust store.§
§Yes Obsidienne. But we will leave soon and you can hunt again.§
§But?§
§Unfortunately, yes. You need to stay hidden when we get there.§
§Noir too?§
§Nope. Noir can stay out in the open. She never listens anyways.§
§She does not speak this language speaker. She is a cat.§
§You speak human. She can learn how to as well.§
§Once again. You are speaking snake. Not human.§
§I do wish you would stop being so strange.§

Ay! I've been stalling this chapter because I really need more input on Harry's house and ship. Please go look at the last chapter and tell me. Also, I keep forgetting to say: Hogwarts and its students are not mine!
