I walked in the cover of the trees next to Koko, who explored everything it saw before moving on.
"Koko, we can't keep stopping. Come on, let's keep going." Jordan said. Koko just ignored her and jumped to catch up when she walked without it.
She saw something in sight, and noticed a lot of sand in the woods. They emerged on a beach.
"A beach! We went the opposite way we should be going!" Jordan said. Koko just took its time to investigate the water.
Jordan saw hotels down the beach to her left. "Koko! What if someone sees you?" She said. Koko splashes into the water.
"Koko!" She yelled and approached the shoreline, without touching the water.
Koko just splashed her with water. "Hey!"
Jordan splashes back, and a splash-battle began.
Jordan's jacket was soaked while the water just ran off of Koko's shields.
Jordan held her arms out. "No fair, now I have to find a way to dry off." She said.
Koko suddenly grabbed Jordan's wrist. "Huh?"
They looked at each other, the sunset making it seem more ominous.
Koko chirped and took away its hand. In its place was a small black bracelet, with white linings and an indent in the middle in the shape of a diamond.
"What is this?" Jordan asked.
"Kooo!"
Koko flew up and backed away a few feet, and started to make a few movements.
"I don't understand. What is this? Was it meant for a person to wear?" Jordan asked.
Koko flew close, grabbed her hands, and shaped them until her hands were making an upside down triangle on outstretched arms.
Koko backed away and did the same thing.
"You want me to dance with you?"
Koko just stared at Jordan. She swallowed and sighed.
"If you say so. I'll try to keep up."
Koko chirped, and turned the triangle upside down, bringing it to its chest. Jordan did the same.
Then it brought its left arm in front of it, and it's right arm behind it, as if it was making a running pose. Jordan did the same.
Then, it punched towards the ground with its right arm, turning its body and lifting its left arm.
It stood straight up and outstretched its left arm. Jordan was starting to wonder what this meant.
Then it hit its right hand over its left, and Jordan hit her right fist into her left hand.
It put its arms up in a cross, and Jordan followed it. She suddenly felt a pulse of energy, that felt like it was coming from the ground and made its way through her body. She fell back and landed in the water.
"What.. was that?" She asked. Koko just looked at her.
"It.. it felt like an earthquake, but it wasn't. It was like.. I was the Earth, for a moment there. I felt my surroundings and now I'm sure I'm seeing things."
Koko chirped, looking up, and we saw a Para-Glider, soaring overhead.
Koko looked back at Jordan, and Jordan looked at Koko.
"I felt that too."
Jordan got up and ran out of the water. It was almost completely dark.
She grabbed her bag which she had left at the shoreline and grabbed her phone. She looked at maps to Area 51 with what service she had.
"Koko, do you know where Area 51 is? It's in Nevada, and it's most likely the place where you came from." She showed it the phone and it didn't seem to care.
"Now we need a way to get back there, if you remember the way." Jordan said. Koko tilted its head. "I guess not.. I think we can make it there in a few days."
Another Para- glider soared over.
"Unless.."
Jordan and Koko followed the glider and found a Paragliding Rental, which was closing.
Sophie ran up to the window.
"A Hundred for a single glider?! I don't even have a hundred on me." Jordan said. For the sake of Koko, she looked around for cameras.
There were none around. She snuck around to the back, searching for another door. The door had a chained lock on it.
"Damn it! We can't get in."
Koko looked at me then the lock. It's right shield arm turned a silvery white and it slashed at the lock, slicing it easily.
"You surprise me every day."
Jordan pushed the thought out of her mind and entered the building.
Someone snoring could be heard. "Stay outside Koko, and wait here for me."
She crouched along the wall and quickly walked past the open door with a security guard.
She made it to the shop.
"There are so many sizes.. which one is right for me?"
She saw a ruler on the wall. She hurried to it and measured herself.
"Ok.. I need to find one for 5'4''." She searches along the racks.
"5-4, 5-4.." she whispered to herself as she searched.
She picked up a heavy bag, and read it quickly.
"This is it!"
She ran out of the building and back outside, but Koko was nowhere to be seen.
"Koko? Where did you go?"
She couldn't see through the darkness, and used what moonlight she had to search.
Jordan climbed a sand dune, and found Koko at the top.
"Koko! You scared me."
Koko gazed up at the sky. There weren't any stars showing because of the clouds.
"It's a cloudy night, I guess." Jordan said. Koko looked away for a moment, then looked back up, raising its arms.
Little sparks started to form, and soon became a ball of electricity in front of it. It shot into the clouds and exploded, separating the clouds.
"Why haven't you done those before? Did you regain some memory?"
It just looked at what stars it could spot.
"We're you maybe.. wiser, where you're from?"
It looked back at Jordan.
"Do you come from a beach? You seemed to like the water."
It looked down, then back up to the stars before the clouds covered them again.
"Don't worry, we're going to start the journey to get you back tomorrow. I guarantee in a couple of days you'll be home, and I'll make sure of that."
