Day out with Marc

The light from the sun hit me square in the face someone had raised my blinds up and opened them up rolling over to get away from it I hit a hard body

My eyes pop open and I see Marc he's asleep head tilted to the side his bare chest is exposed I can't help but check him out as I leaned up on my elbow
As my eyes travel down his chest he is lightly covered with hair it looks soft
When I run my fingers across it I find it's as soft as I thought

Marc shifts just a little in the bed I pull my hand back not wanting to get caught feeling up Marc as he's sleeping
Glancing over his shoulder I see the clock on the wall it says 6:35 am not really wanting to get up but my bladder says otherwise and my belly is slightly growling so I slip out of the bed and went to bathroom then headed to the kitchen As I pass the two spare bedrooms I check to see if anyone stayed besides Marc ... Nope then I head to the kitchen when I make it to the living room I see no one in there either and no one in the kitchen but I do see two notes

If you wake up before Marc I left two more Tylenol tablets take them if you need them but eat first
Take it easy today I will see you later this afternoon when I get off work

Do as Sean said We all will give you your space this morning because Marc will be with you keeping an eye on you , Uncle said for you to stay home not to come in
We will all come by this afternoon so try and behave

Shaking my head at both notes well not really because my head was still hurting well it's more of dull ache
Pulling out a coffee cup I placed it on the counter to fix some coffee

I went to turn around to grab the coffee out the pantry

" Ahhh "
" Sorry I thought you heard me " Marc says with a small grin
" No I didn't you gave me a heart attack" I said to him as I hit his arm
"Ooouch " he says rubbing his arm
" Wimp" I said to him

Marc got a mischievous grin on his face I backed up and hit the counter
He placed his hands on each side of me
" I can show you that I'm no wimp if you want me too"

Looking at him his blue and green eyes were showing mischief and what I think is lust
He comes closer closing the gap between us
I can now feel his body heat coming off him
Marc leans in I thought he was going to kiss me but all he did was kiss my forehead

"I'll make the coffee you make breakfast " he said as he stepped away and turned to the coffee maker

I don't know if I am relieved that he didn't kiss me or upset that he didn't

" Don't worry My Little Vixen I'll kiss you on those pouty lips soon enough " Marc said with his back to me

I didn't respond to him just went about getting breakfast together for us

After breakfast I went and took a shower so did Marc ....No not in the same shower he went to the guest room

Standing in my newly organized closet I see that I have some new clothes but I just slide on a pair of cut off shorts and pink tank top

Picking up my lock box I open it and make sure Chase didn't take anything out I can tell he shuffled through the items
Picking one of the envelopes I open it and read the note inside
Tears pool in my eyes I quickly put the note back inside drop the envelope back into the box
Then I see the strip of photo booth pictures of Gabriel and I when we went out to the carnival then I find the rose that Owen gave me on our date
The last thing I pick up is another envelope I see it's been three years since the diagnosis and surgery this is the one thing I don't need them to see or know but with Chase going through my lockbox I know he will tell them ... How do I explain to my family that I kept this a secret for this long Cancer is a bitch it took half my chances of getting pregnant away  thats if the chemo didn't take the rest of the chances I'm glad we caught it early Dr  Roberts and Dr Oliver did the surgery which reminds me my scheduled  six month checkup is in three days
